Sorry but i need to mom brag. The pre-k graduation was shortly after his autism diagnosis when we were still unsure what life held for him. He not only graduated 6th grade today, but also graduated from special ed. He will be going into middle school in a mainstream (general education) class.. He worked so hard and I couldn't be prouder.

Way to go!!!!!
Thank you so much for this post!!!! It seriously made me cry tears of joy.
My nephew is 3 1/2 years old and has autism. I also have concerns that my 2 year old daughter is on the spectrum.(I had her evaluated but I was told to bring her back when she is 3)
I often worry about what the future holds for them. This brings me such hope. Thank you.

@laywatz. I am so glad. He inspires me every day. It's definitely scary at first. I also work with autistic children and it's amazing what they are capable of. If you ever have questions please feel free to pm me.
