Need positive thoughts for my baby boy. Damien had his first ER visit last night. He's ok, but it was really scary. He threw up an entire bottle. It was really bad (full projectile), so we put him in the bath. After his bath I was putting diaper cream on and felt a lump right above his penis near his thigh. DH looked it up and said it was either an rescinded testicle, a swollen lymph node, or a hernia all of which have symptoms of vomiting and crankiness.

Oh, that does sound scary. I have wanted to take Sully in over every little thing. And he has a diaper rash too and I think the nystatin is working. My first son is 3, still in diapers but has never had a rash so I am worried about it.

It was. I'm not a go to the ER person so when the on call told me to I got really scared

? glad he's doing better. I hope they can confirm the lymph node Monday so you can have some answers.

Thank you everyone. The lump still seems to be gone so we are praying it was a lymph node and not a hernia. He hasn't vomited since last night and hasn't been cranky so that's a good sign. I'll keep this post updated when we find out more.

UPDATE: it is looking like a hernia. We have an appointment at 3:40 to confirm. If it is he will most likely need surgery. ?
