Thanks ladies! They just got the ball rolling about 30 min ago. I'm so happy they were able to get me in today. Now it's just the waiting game! I was only 2cm dilated and "kind of soft" from what the nurse said. Hopefully my body responds well to all of this. Can't wait to meet my little one!

I was over with my 1st too! Quite miserable! Hopefully he comes soon!

And you are way more generous than I am on company! Inlaws helped with my 5 yr old while in the hospital but as soon as I got home I said NO company. At least for a month. Recovery and a newborn is something I wanted to do with just my hubby and 5 yr old. ?

Yay!!! I'm sure you are relieved to be induced soon. I'm going in tonight to start with cervadil overnight. I'm really disappointed he didn't come on his own. I had contractions regularly every ten minutes last night from 10 pm to 4 am and thought he was going to make it just before inducing, but the contractions stopped and haven't been back all day. I'm so tired and just ready to get this over with! Good luck, hopefully they will get you in asap!

Shell- I feel great physically. Mentally and emotionally, I'm done!

I know my parents will help out. Which I'm very thankful for. But I still want a little time with just hubs and baby. So I'm hoping they will be able to induce sooner rather than later since I know we won't have that time for 3 weeks

Dymonds- I don't know how far I'm dilated. They don't check at my appointments. Which I'm okay with really.

I thought they would check me today, but I finally got a little bit of good news! They put me down to be induced tomorrow. I'm just waiting for a call on what time. IF they have a spot available, they will have me come in tonight though. With all of that said, I opted out of a cervical check. I'm hoping to get that call soon though! I can't believe my time is almost here now!

Wow he is so low! How are you feeling though? That's the worst part about having a baby it's more exhausting to entertain and be around a bunch of friends and family who want to see the baby! Hopefully you get a lot of help when your mom comes in!

I feel your pain. I didn't go into labor spontaneously until I was 41+1. It was killer. For me long walks everyday finally did the trick. It was painful and exhausting but it really helped. I agree. I kind of hate company right now.

Just have to say your bed looks so comfy ? & yes being past due is driving me nuts I've been so emotional and irritable I sometimes think of crying I'm 40weeks +3 and doc is going to induce me in two days I don't know if I should be relieved because I really wanted him to come on his own ? ugh these boys are already so stubborn. Good luck tomorrow I hope you get good news.

And yes, all the company is stressing me out already and no one is here yet!

I cried today. I'm just mentally done. I have a feeling I'll have to be induced because nothing I do is helping. I know babies come when they are ready, but my body doesn't seem to be allowing me the chance to do things on it's own either.

I'm 40+5 too! My mom is already here ready to help but has to leave on the 17th. I'm trying everything to get labour going and nothing is working! Scheduled to be induced on Friday.

I'm 40 weeks 5 days too! Being over due is the worst. I hope your baby comes tonight so you get some time alone! I'm hoping to go into labor on my own but I'm losing hope at this point. I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow night unfortunately and quickly running out of time.
