I'm due May 8th and I feel exactly the same way. No dilation at all, no definitive symptoms. I just have mild period-like cramps every now and then, but nothing that I can even differentiate a start or finish to. I just had an appointment this afternoon and my doctor told me I was having a contraction at that time - and I didn't even know it. I feel very luck to not be in a lot of discomfort, but it is hard to not be anxious for some sign that I'm getting close! Oh well - I guess I should not think about the fact that my little one is tucked in there for the long-haul and instead focus on enjoying my last days before our lives change.

Is this your first? With my son I didn't have any signs of labor until after my water broke. And that was completely fine. By the time I got to the hospital I was 10 cm. So I think your fine just start doing short walks if you haven't already. Do things that will help with dilation and labor when you feel up to it. I know you're not really in a rush for baby to come like me.

I also have a high pain tolerance so maybe I'm just missing everything. I was talking to my mom the other day and she told me she didn't know she was having contractions when she was in labor with my brother. The only way she knew about them was because she was hooked up to a monitor that showed when she was having one. So I'm wondering if it will be the same way with me? I guess time will tell

I'm due on the 5th as well and could have written this post myself! I had period like cramps this morning and then nothing. Baby has been low my entire pregnancy but I still don't feel him in my pelvis. I'm going to try to walk a lot this weekend. I thought for sure he would come early but now I don't know!

My first we were induced at 41 weeks. Even when hooked up they were asking if I felt contractions and I said no but they were coming quick lol.

With my first baby I had zero signs until my water broke 3 days before my due date. My baby was reallllly low, but I was barely even a finger tip dilated. I didn't have any contractions and minimal BH. It's really just a waiting game and you'll never know! For this baby I've been having a lot of contractions and am only going to be 37 weeks this weekend but I'm still trying to mental prepare myself to go to my due date.

I was having contractions every 5 minutes with my first and didn't know. My doctor and nurses thought I was crazy. The only reason I knew was because I got sent to L&D for monitoring for high BP. I definitely have more symptoms this time around.

You're not alone!! Im Sitting in the same boat!! 39+3 today and no big signs of labor. I am 2 cm dilated and do have the very mild period like pain in the morning or at night but they go away and it's not every days. FTM as well so the wait is killing me. But I guess I should be glad I'm feeling good, just ready to see my little girl!!

I'm the same. Due May 3 and no signs. Haven't been dialated or dropped at all. No contractions or cramps. My back, hips, and vagina have been sore but I also assume that's because I've been walking.

I was the exact same with my first as some of the other ladies. Not a single symptom, honestly I wasn't even that uncomfortable. Then my water broke the evening before and he was born on his due date. This time around though it's been completely different. Don't let the lack of symptoms discourage you mama! I can tell you from experience it literally means nothing

In that boat ⛵️ too due May 1st been having BH and today at myDoctor's appointment my ob said I was only 1cm dilated. Not surprised though my first was in no rush to come either had her at 41 plus weeks.

This is my second and I don't feel all that bad either. I just commented on someone else's post the other day that I really don't have any complaints. I had a couple bad days these past few weeks but that's it. Period like cramping here and there (it's so light) and maaaaaybe some back pain if I'm doing too much and not resting. The worst thing I have to complain about is peeing so much all day and all night long. I was like this with my first too. No swelling of the feet or hands (I got it afterwards last time) I will say overall I feel pretty good, but I'm happy because then that means I can keep my house clean with a toddler until she arrives!
