Birthday suit and milk supply
Birthday suit and milk supply
I didn't even think about leaky breasts when milk comes in and I'm the type of person who wears their birthday suit to bed. I feel like I'm suffocating with any type of clothing on my body at night. But I was just thinking about milk supply... I know some women leak a lot and some don't.

Nursing tank for me, mostly for comfort not leakage.

Megan- don't worry. Your milk won't come in until after the baby is here. I'm 39w too and I haven't even leaked colostrum yet. Everyone's body is different

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and haven't leaked at all. Does that mean I won't produce any milk? ?

I hate wearing clothes at night too but I have to wear a nursing bra and pads because I produce and leak soooo much. Not one of the things I like lol

I have been sleeping in a nursing night gown. Mainly for leaking and since I go from my room to our babies room and don't want my daughter to see me walking around naked holding her baby brother.

I leaked a lot with my first so a top with nursing pads wasn't really an option... I used to sleep in only panties. Not any more

I always had on at least a nursing tank at night with reusable nursing pads tucked in. And slept on top of a towel.Im a belly sleeper so leaks were going to happen.

We will also be cloth diapering, so changing sheets often won't bother me since I'll be doing a load of laundry often anyway!

I leaked a lot. Slept on towels and changed the sheets a lot make sure you have a mattress pad and try not to lay on a boob when you are sleeping :)

I leaked a lot after i had my second baby i got a waterproof sheet and slept with a towel under me

Ive been sleeping with a towel under me to keep the bed from getting wet from my leaky boobs, i hate wearing a shirt to bed!

Your boobs are so tender and sensitive it might be more comfortable to wear a nursing tank. I have some medela sleep bras. My boobs are really huge and weren't comfortable flopping around even with sheets touching them. I wasn't a big leaker but I nursed and pumped for 2 years

You might be able to get away with not wearing anything, some women don't leak at all or very much. Maybe sleep with a towel under you in case you do leak? I hated sleeping with a nursing bra, I like to sleep with a really loose top on and nothing constricting but I would wake up soaked with milk all over my shirts. Eventually though you won't leak as much or hardly at all. It was bad for me for the first few months and got better.

I bought Maidenform sleep nursing bras. They are wonderful, very light and non-restricting...this way I can wear the nursing pads.

I already leak through a tshirt! I bought a waterproof matters cover 2 extra set of sheets, change then every other day an wash them all at once!
You literally couldn't pay me to sleep in a bra!

I normally can't sleep with a bra, but at 35 weeks I've started waking up with small wet spot on my shirts. When I nursed my other 2 kids I leaked like crazy and had to change nursing pads often. At night I wore a nursing tank or loose sleep nursing bra with nursing pads. If I didn't I'm sure I would have woken up in a puddle of breast milk ?

I use a sleeping bra at night. It's not tight and restricting like a normal bra and it's easier to nurse in. I leak a lot when i first start nursing so if I don't wear anything I'm pretty sure I'd be spraying my husband in the face or something when I nurse my lo at night lol

I leak a lot so I have to wear a bra with nursing pads n even like that I wet my sheets when I'm sideways because my boobs go sideways ??♀️

I wear a looser fit sports bra with breast pads in it. It's comfortable to me and I like to sleep In the nude too. Maybe try that

I just sleep lol, every morning I will see a leakage spot, but at this point in my pregnancy I really don't care cause I wanna be as comfortable as possible, so I just ask my hubby every 3days to change sheets and I would sock them in hot water for about an hour then put in washer. Haven't had any problems with stains at all.

I sleep in TShirt and on many occasions I wake up with a soaking wet shirt. I'm sure everyone is different but I don't think It's an option for me to not at least wear a shirt.
