1. My biological dad wrote me a letter when I was 19 and explained he was actually my dad vs my stepfather (whom wasn't much a of father figure to begin with). My life completely changed for the good that year meeting the rest of my family - grandma, uncles, cousins!
2. I'm the owner and operator of a dog company. I joke that my dogs - 2 husky x's have a bigger social life than I do.
3. I was raised as Jehovah's Witness with my mom and half sister but broke away from the religion when I was 16. It was a struggle for awhile as my mother kicked me out of the house because I didn't want to come back into the religion. I had to finish high school while couch surfing on friends couches for awhile but, I finally obtained student government assistance and rented a room in a house. Once I graduated high school I got a full time job as a cook to get off the government assistance.
I'm grateful I persevered and tried to have a positive attitude things would work out. So proud with how far I've come and now run my own business.

We've lost 4 previous. Our current is a girl named Nora Rae. We just found out she has a heart defect that is thankfully fixable with surgery.
1) my passion is animals. I'm a full time volunteer with a Retired Racing Greyhound adoption group called Greyhound Pets of America - MN. We have 4 retired racers in our home and have fostered 17 others in the last 2 years. I'm on the board of directors for the organization. It's my passion!
2) I'm a disabled military veteran. I broke my back while in the USAF and now have an autoimmune disease as a result. Therefore I'm a stay at home pregnant person. Pregnancy and autoimmune disease don't make a good combination for working
3) I met my husband at work. I was just starting and he was just leaving the company for a different job. Somehow we connected and it was love at first sight. We moved into together after knowing each other for 3 weeks and were married after 1.5 years. We've been married for 6 years now!
-I stopped drinking sodas or any other sugary drink 16 years ago. (Only water)
-I've never eaten Mac & Cheese but I do, on rare occasions, eat spaghetti & cheese.
-I've never eaten scrambled or hard boiled eggs ?.
-When I was a kid, I would eat my cheese burger plain (just meat, cheese & bread) & if it was a sesame seed bun, I would pick off every little seed one by one.

-This is my 3rd pregnancy & I suffered with postpartum depression after each of my previous births. After my 1st, I was prescribed medication but decided after 6 months that I no longer wanted to take them. It was hell getting off of them but I was determined. After my 2nd birth, I was all of sudden hit with PD. I thought for sure it wouldn't get me this time. But I read somewhere that taking Benadryl would help. Still determined not to take RX meds, I gave Benadryl a try. IT WORKED. ?

1. I haven't eaten meat in 5 years. I was a vegetarian for most of that time, but I have been vegan for the past 10 months
