Frilly poofy dresses
So I went shopping for an waster dress for my 1 month old and I was shocked that I could not find any big poofy Easter dresses for her. I went to 7 different stores and all of them only had casual dresses. When I was a baby, I had so many of those dresses. Are they just out of style? Or was I just really late looking for a dress?

What stores did you try? They definitely still have them for different holidays. I don't know if it's that you were too late, because they wouldn't be taken down yet. I doubt they'd sell out either.

Jcpenney had a lot of them and so did Walmart.

I went to Macy's, Sears, JC Pennneys, Belk, Crazy 8, Children's place, Once Upon a Child, and Gymboree. The department stores had dresses for bigger babies, but not anything in 0-3 or even 3-6.

Hmm, maybe you were late. I bought my friends baby who is only 2 weeks a big poofy dress yesterday at Sears! They were all on sale

I work at Belk and we had a few different styles of puffy Easter dresses in the size you needed. But we only get 1 maybe 2 dresses in each style in each size so they was probably already sold out. I bought my LOs dress back in February because I was afraid they would sell out.

Ok that makes sense, I had gotten my sd5s dress back in February. I had one for my LO but it was newborn and she outgrew it already.
I did eventually find her a dress at Macy's, it was literally the only dress in her size and I had to get a saleswoman to help me. She was just as baffled as I was at the lack of dresses.

They still have poofy dresses. But I got my girls theirs in February.

I didn't find anything for my 3 week old either and we went everywhere. We couldn't find any of the big exaggerated poofy ones under 12 months. Crazy
We had to return my older daughters dress for a more casual one so they matched better.
Edit: and her grandmother and us have been looking for them for a couple months so we weren't late. Everyone I've talked to around here said the same thing that they didn't see any under 12 months

Always go online if any. I usually get stuff on ebay because I get tired of the same old styles in chain stores. Dd likes to be unique.

I'm going to have to start looking online for her clothes. I lean more towards "old fashioned" clothes and I've noticed my style kind of clashes with what's available in the stores.

I love old fashioned. Also funky and more cosplay-like.
Target has some nice stuff as well you can mix with other styles to make nice outfits. Dd loves bright colors.
