Baby's weight
It seems like everyone knows how much their baby weighs and how big they are. My midwife has not given me any of this information. I want to know how big my baby is too!
I'm being watched closely bc my last baby was 10 pounds, I just got a growth scan on Tuesday and baby already weighs 5 pound 1 oz, measuring at almost 35 weeks and I'm only 31 weeks ?. Another 10 pounder for me
I don't know either. My last ultrasound was when I was 20 weeks and she weighed 11oz. I'm 28 weeks 6 days and idk how big she is. I'm gonna ask for a growth scan next app
It may be just a guess when you're having a regular ultrasound or if an OB is just palpating your abdomen, but if you're having a real growth scan they are fairly accurate within a few ounces. They measure the femur length and abdomen to calculate the fetal weight.
At 22 weeks 1lb 2oz since then idk but will check Next's Thursday I will be 31w&3d I have an ultrasound scheduled
It's all just a guess. Another thing to make you worry. I have never known the sizes of my babies and I'm glad because then they can't make unnecessary interventions on a guess. I've had friends who have been induced and had terrible labors or had csection just because an OB thought the baby would be huge and then it was born on the small or average side.
Evening your not having scans where they tell you, do the not plot you on a chart ? They tells you there size
They can't really tell. It's just decently educated guess and knowing makes no difference. Check out what it says your baby should be based on your week. That's as good as guess as any.
I'd say between 2-3lbs for me. I doubt I'll have another scan before baby comes.
They tell me during my ultrasound how much they weigh and I have already gotten probably 6 I'm only 29 weeks but with twins. That's the only reason I know mine and know them so frequently.
I have no idea either. They never told me but I'll have to ask at my last scan at 32 weeks.

So basically my baby is big 😩 like almost 7lbs big and I’m only about to be 35 weeks! I mean how though!???? She is so big that she is having trouble turning head down. We gonna continue the light yoga exercises and hope she can flip but I wanna know what mamas it there had big babies what were your experiences during labor and delivery? How long?what happened? I wanna know everything! Lol
I dont understand how circumcision, breastfeeding, and molding your babys head fresh out the womb became such a big deal all of a sudden so many wrongs and people against it, havent seen the problem back then with my other three pregnancy's smh this generation gets on my nerves 😒
