High BP- sent to hospital

my BP was high after 20 weeks and I ended up being diagnosed with preeclampsia after a 24 hour urine collection. It’s scary to hear esp since I had an emergency c section at 36 weeks but everything will work out. I’m now home with the baby ???

I went to the OB today and my high risk doctor. Blood pressure even higher 151/99. Back in the hospital for monitoring. Ugh!!

Doctor said we will induce next week no matter what. Guess my Christmas baby will be here to celebrate with us!

I ended up getting a blood pressure cuff at Walmart for about $25 so I can check at home to put my mind at ease. I’m watching what I’m eating, not too salty or fattening foods. Consider getting one! I’ve felt so much better being able to monitor it myself and not wonder if I’m too high or not.

I have had issues with my BP this whole pregnancy but yesterday it was 154/91. It’s been around that since last week. I’ve heart anything 150+/90+ is high and you should reach out to the doctor.

All my labs were fine though so they just said to relax and take it easy.

They also have me on baby aspirin and that helped for the longest time (until last week ??‍♀️) maybe you can try that too (talk to your OB first)

Can I ask what your BP was? I was high yesterday at my appt and they said it was borderline. It stressed me out and I couldn’t sleep last night my heart was pounding I was so worried about my baby. I may go to a pharmacy to get BP taken today. Hope we both can cook these babies longer!

After 5 hours laying in that dang bed they sent me home. Said my BP was borderline but all my labs came back fine. So just to take it easy. Get to keep cookin’ my little one. Thank goodness! Hopefully my BP is better Monday when I go back to the OB because that was not an enjoyable hospital visit. Thanks for thinking of my ladies!

Just had this happen and was induced at 34 weeks! Hope you can keep your little one cooking still!

I think ur safe?. Its a good sign they sent u to be monitored. Mine was so high they sent me straight to b induced ?... Prayers sent for u n baby just to be safe ??
