Help!

I am due in 18 days and don't know what to call our son. All the way through we have liked Blair Gregor (Scottish name as hubby is Scottish) but have had very mixed reactions to it. The other name we like is Callum but I already have a son called Caelan (kay-lan) are Callum and Caelan too similar? Can't seem to find any other names we like! Ahhhh at this rate baby won't have any name, should we just stick with what we thought all along? Thx x

I love the name Blair. And if you've loved it the whole way along, I say go for it. And anyway, other people always warm to a name after the baby is born. :-)

Thank you all ladies still as confused as ever! Hubby thinks we have thought Blair all along so we should stick to it! I know not many people like it at this rate will have to wait for the little man to make his appearance and decide whether he looks like a Blair, Callum or whatever name pops into our heads! Funny as before was pregnant had 101 names that wanted to call my children now we are struggling to find and stick to 1!!! Thank u all again x

I love Callum and it goes well with your son's name. Yes they're similar but not too close. Together I'm sure they'll make a great pair :) Sorry but I'm not keen on Blair or Gregor x

I also like the name Blair and think it sounds good with gregor. I say don't worry too much about negitive opinions - people won't think or say anything about it once he's born.

I think it's to close to your sons name sorry. I really like your choice (not so sure about Blair though) I have 2 nephews and they are Cody lane and cordon Leigh. So Cody or Cordy and it gets so confusing (always calling them the wrong name) also their initials are the same so it will be interesting when they get mail. As they won't know who mail it is. But I really love your choice.

I like Callum, but I do think it's too close to Caelan and will probably result in some confusion at times.

No I thin caelan and Callum are lovely. And there not that similar . Some people like to keep there childrens names similar anyway. I say if you and your husband like it then go for it. The best of luck.
