Pp to be fair whatever it was, made a really loud thump when hitting the wall. In Az we get Palo verde beetles. They are easily 2-3 inches long with antennas twice the size of their bodies. They are pretty creepy looking.
ETA: I am out front and found a half alive one on the ground near where we heard the thump. It's facking huge. Lol.
When dd was a new born I had her in a portable bassinet in the living room. We stepped outside to talk to our neighbor and I left the door cracked to listen for her. A locus flew in the house as I was walking inside. I hate those things! I ran to the bathroom and was like oh no! Dd is out there I can't sacrifice her. ? So I ran out flailing my arms grabbed dd and ran to the bathroom and shut the door.
So I guess we're even because I left dh to deal with it haha.
When I was younger, I was datimg a guy and he told me about a spider that was in the air vent. He didnt think it was still in the car, and then I saw it crawling up his seat towards his head. I get silent and point and he told me to swat it. This sucker wad huge and hairy, and I wasnt gonna swat at it. I was too scared and afraid I just let it continue crawling uo towards him. Lol. It changed directions and just vanished after that.
We were sitting outside relaxing and this HUGE effing beetle or something slammed against the wall. He was like GO GO GO! So I ran down the sidewalk. This mfker ran INTO the house and shut the door! He left me out there with that thing!
I was like baby you left me! He was like I know I'm sorry. I even shut the door behind me ?
UPDATE: I hid the sugar that he uses for his morning coffee ☕️

Oh gosh Arizona bugs. I love that state, just can't stand how big the bugs are. I left my grandpa outside one day, he was laughing his butt off at me.
