I know this may be odd. I don't even know how I would google this problem haha. My finger tips look like I've been in the bath for awhile right? Why? They've been like this for 2 days. I thought maybe my hands were dry so I've been using this specific lotion for extremely dry skin. No change. My finger tips hurt. Like they are very tender. I have no idea what it could be.

My finger tips are like this and I know I don't drink near enough water. I don't have any pain though, that's odd. ?

Try rubbing hydrocortisone on your fingertips, it helps almost immediately! It might relieve some of the pain or burning/itching sensation if you have any. Lotion always made it worse for me.

Yes OP it is genetic. Every female on my maternal side has a thyroid disorder as do I.

I've heard when fingertips are wrinkled it's a sign of thyroid issues. Good luck!

Not trying to scare you, but I found this online:

Wrinkled Fingertips or Pruney Fingers without any indication of the hand being in water for a long time then it may be a sign of an underlying medical condition like diabetes, dehydration, or thyroid disorder.

Get your thyroid checked!

Edit: Vitamin D and B12 deficiency has also been shown to cause Wrinkled Fingertips.

When my sister got strep about a year ago, her fingers did this. They started peeling a week or so later. Strangest thing ever. She didn't feel any symptoms of strep but apparently was walking around with it.

Butternut squash does do something to your hands....it's the squashes defense mechanism. It is weird.

I haven't changed any cleaning supplies or handled rough materials. I haven't really done anything out of the ordinary. These symptoms suddenly appeared yesterday morning. They are very sore especially when I touch anything. I drink a Ton of water normally. I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow if it's still there.

I have eczema on my hands and that's how mine look when they're healing. Mine was caused by all the detergents and soaps I use daily.

I just looked at my finger tips and they look the same but no pain lol. Maybe we're dehydrated?

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
