RAVE!!!! Is anyone else in Arizona loving this weather right now!?!? I'm on the west side and it's so beautiful out!!!!

Hating the az weather. Too hot!

I'm in NC and it was 80 degrees! It's supposed to be 55 today. This weather is crazy!

@sharkattack You will be used to the summers here then. It gets to 115 quite often in July - August.

Every summer is when I start pining for my hometown. I have not gotten used to summers here and I probably never will. I miss being able to enjoy fourth of july.

I hate the summers. When I picture summer I see kids playing outside and having fun. Unless you're swimming in a pool/lake/river there's no one playing outside. It's like opening an oven after it's done pre heating and all that hot air hits your face. Ugh. Getting in the car is awful. But up north is so pretty. The summers are beautiful. Sedona is gorgeous.

I just posted about moving there! Do you all love it besides the heat. I love the heat. Where I live in the summer it gets to be 115.

Massgirl- it would be Scottsdale. Sedona is beautiful btw! You can go to grand canyon. It's not too close, but it's worth it!

We are loving the weather. We went hiking around Lake Pleasant yesterday. We are considering a day trip up north though to see the Grand Canyon.

My SO will be in flagstaff all week or maybe it's scottsdale...I can't remember lol it's whatever city is only 20 mins from the Phoenix airport. I'll only be meeting up with him and then we're headed to Sedona from the weekend. If you ladies have any recommendations on what we should see please tell!!

Flagstaff is one of the nicest cities in Arizona (temperature wise) it even snows there. I don't think Flagstaff gets as hot as other cities in AZ like Phoenix, or Yuma.

@massgirl they said it would rain last night but it didn't lol. Sedona is beautiful, hopefully you will get to see it while it's sunny. If it does rain, usually it's not an all day thing, like a quick 30 min shower, and so you can still enjoy it. I hope I didn't jinx that lol.

Question: when it says rain in the forecast does it actually rain? I'm flying in for a romantic weekend in sedona and the forecast says occasional showers all weekend. I'm so bummed I wanted to see a canyon so bad ?

@jenny I feel that way sometimes. I hate when we have a warm Nov, Dec, and Jan. Those months I want it to be cold because it feels more holiday-ish. Plus I like to use my fireplace sometimes.

We did yard work today:) and most of our neighbors were outside also. Such a beautiful day :) we were even in shorts :) I'm in the east valley.

I live on the west side too. I went to fountain hills today for a car show and it was such a beautiful day to be out and walking around the fountain lake area.

SO is heading out to flagstaff in the morning! We've gotten over 15 inches of snow in the last 3 days. He keeps bragging about getting a tan while he's gone. I'm flying into phoenix on Thursday to meet up with him just in time for the rain to come?
