I definitely see 3 lines on the right picture, but not the left.

On the left one there is black area between the potential tip of winky and baby's body. It's possible that was the umbilical cord. We saw a similar thing with my oldest daughter. I asked dr like "uhhhh is she a boy?" and he explained that the umbilical cord can sometimes provide optical illusions to an untrained eye

@Anne.hall thanks girl! I mean I still feel like I see a winky in the left pic but at a closer look it does look like there are lines. I guess the lady bits were just very swollen.

@C.bilon & @lovemycomet I actually agree! The 13w ultrasound was done on a pretty old machine, my 17w ultrasound was done on the best machine they have at his office. He even did 3d for a few minutes but wasn't very good because he didn't have training for the 3d yet? Thought that was a little odd! My mom refused to believe him when he said boy. She said it was too early and he only spent about 2 minutes on the ultrasound..So you can guess how happy she was when I told her how the last ultrasound went ?

I know how you feel! I lost my son and have two living daughters. I have fears of something being wrong with me that will prevent me from bringing a living son home.

Looking at the left u/s I'm surprised they even guessed. It's not clear enough at all. The right is as clear as day. Girl all the way

The 13w ultrasound isn't clear enough for me to tell but the 17w definitely looks like a girl!

I guess a part of me just can't believe it. For the longest time I thought I wouldn't be able to have a little girl after losing our daughter in September. We had genetic testing done and she had Turners Syndrome. My doctor at the time actually said that it could be an issue with either my husband our myself and recommended we get genetic test done ourselves. We decided not to at the time. After researching on our own we found out that Turners Syndrome is completely random. We lost our daughter at 9 weeks and my first miscarriage 6 years ago was around 8 and a half weeks so I tied the two together assuming that it must have been a girl as well.

So this is just overwhelmingly emotional to think after all this time we may have our girl! I truly thought something was wrong with me.

I had a private scan at 13w6d but I don't think mine will change lol hes dangle was all out there! Just can't believe this lol it really happens

I was told to at 13 weeks genetic u.s it was a boy . I didn't ask she was like do you wanna know the sex of course I said yes she said she was 90% sure it's a boy ? I hope it sticks I have 2 girls already lol

@Salvadoriangirl I'm pretty convinced now that 13 weeks is just too early! If I could go back I wouldn't have even asked him to look at 13 weeks! At my 17 week ultrasound with my son it was VERY clear it was a boy. So if your next ultrasound is at 18 weeks it should be pretty obvious?

In my case they told me at 13 weeks 1 day that is a boy... But i want to make sure on my 18th weeks if it is a boy for sure lol i don't want to gets my hopes up cause I would to have a girl but as long as my bby is healthy and I make it full term is whats important for me at this point?

My friend said her girl showed up like those three lines. I'd say girl :)

But I'm still trying to figure out whats going on because my doctor would not confirm 100% girl. So who really knows..though I doubt a boy can have 3 lines like that lol
