I wouldn't say I'm a fitness junkie but I do love going to the gym 4 or 5 days a week, I've been so nervous going lately, have you been doing the same gym routine since finding out?

I’m pretty nervous too. Usually do 3-4 miles a week and weights. But today I walked a mile and started feeling strain on my lower back. So I left lol. Wondering if I go my usual if it’ll be too much, especially since I miscarried my last pregnancy.

I’m actually doing longer time with cardio but WAY less intensity! And with weights I’m just lifting slightly lighter and not doing anything that strains my belly at all and if I start feeling off I just stop and peace out lol!

And don’t get me wrong- I feel nervous the whole time (let’s be honest, i feel nervous doing ANYTHING right now ??) but I lifted and did cardio 4-5 days a week through my whole pregnancy with ds so I feel pretty confident in just continuing my routine and listening to my body.

Me! Running and swimming mostly. Last pregnancy I worked out and did capoeira until 37 weeks. I feel like it made labor and recovery easier.

I'm not a gym goer but I do keep reasonably fit with lots and lots of walking and some exercise dvds but I am determined to do something in this pregnancy to try and keep some core strength. After I had my little boy, it was totally gone, I had no strength at all in my abs and it all made my back pretty sore - I felt like a little old lady. Think I may investigate some pregnancy yoga or something. All power to you fit ladies though- I have no doubt it all helps and pays off afterwards too.

I run and go to Pilates. I’m doing a 10k race in 2 weeks. After that I plan to slowly reduce my running but keep it going as long as possible. I go to Pilates once a week - planning on keeping it up but once it starts getting hard I’m gonna swap to pregnancy yoga as there is a class near me. Can’t wait!!! Last pregnancy I didn’t exercise at all! I started running after my son was born to lose the baby weight and loved it so kept it up

Yes! I do FitBody Bootcamp (group personal training) 5 days a week at 5am plus a 3-4 mile walk/hike in the evening! Hoping it helps me with a quick recovery with my 2nd c-section.

I am an avid gym goer, but have scaled back *bigtime* this time around. We got pregnant in December and my OB told me I could continue my regular gym activity as usual, just nothing more intense than my normal. So I did. Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. I’m now going to a RE who said absolutely no working out the next few weeks. (This was an IUI baby). It’s killing me but I’m just letting my body rest and continuing to eat healthy. Hopefully I can slowly start up again after he gives me the green light!

I am a L&D RN and I highly recommend exercise during pregnancy!! Great job ladies, keep it up!!

With my first I worked out second and third trimester and my labor and delivery was pretty easy so this time I plan to do the same. First trimester I was too sick to move so waiting to see how that’s gonna go this time around... walk, run, bike, yoga. Keep up the inspiring good work ladies!
