Your ob office should have a dr on call for you to ask. I would def call your dr right away. Keep us posted and I will pray for you!

I'm sure All they are going to tell me is to go in to L&D and I just feel stupid going in if it's nothing :(

Going in to L&D I started having very regular and strong contractions. Every 4 minutes or so and they're lasting about a minute each

Still in L&D! I've been here for about 4 hours now. I Have had three shots of terbutaline to stop my contractions and that didn't work. So they just gave me a pill to try and stop them. If that doesn't work they're gonna go ahead and give me the steroid shot to mature his lungs. I'm not dilated but I'm thinning and his head is RIGHT against my cervix. They're amazed I'm not dilated. Now it's just the waiting game to see what happens next!!!

I'm Still here. I'm Having contractions every 2-3 minutes and they are getting nothing but stronger. Nothing will stop them. I'm still not dilated though. NOTHING is making sense. I have had 20-30 contractions an hour for 10 hours now. I am exhausted, scared and confused.

Your in my prayers. How far along are you and I know its easier said then done. But try and calm down your in the best place you can be. The hospital. Their going to take care of you and the baby so try not to worry so much because that's not good for you guys right now. Just breath.

i hope all is ok stay strong sometimes we have no control and thats ok, thats why we have specialists and crazy high tech technology.

it sounds like your baby has plans of their own...

i would ask for steroid shot personally because of how long its been going on

do they know why your thinning but not dilating?

With my first I went into labor and had 20 hours of contractions BEFORE I started dilating... It happens sometimes. Sounds like you're in labor but taking ages to dilate like me. Just try to relax and breathe deeply, you are in the right place, they will take good care of you and you are far enough alone for your baby to be fine and strong if he comes now. We are all thinking of you. You can do it! Stay strong and positive and think of meeting your baby sooner than us! ;)

My thoughts and prayers are going out to you and your LO, you are in good hands!! Try and relax the best way you can, it will make the contractions a little easier to bear!
