Went to the doctor Tuesday and got my pregnancy confirmed... they were like "yep, you're pregnant!" Lmao... drew my blood and scheduled my dating (I think) ultrasound for next Tuesday when I should be 8 weeks and 4 days... we will find out if I'm as far along as I think I am (my period fluctuates greatly)... I did find out my ultrasound will cost me $319 after insurance... holy hell!!! But I'm excited to see if I'm right on the dates... I should be due August 24th. I didn't think my s.o. knew when I was due but when I asked him he answered the correct date immediately and said the midwife said it when she confirmed... God I swear I don't pay attention to anything these days. Is pregnancy brain a thing? Also ultrasound question, if they are telling me to drink 32 ounces of water before the test is it transvaginal or abdominal?

That's what I was thinking cause the transvaginal someone said they weren't told to drink water, but they said the baby would be still really small at this point too so they suggested it was weird it wasn't transvaginal?

For my clinic they always do abdominal first (with full bladder) and then have you empty your bladder and then they do the transvaginal =)
