stitches in my side, normal?
I'm approx. 7 weeks pregnant with my first, and I'm having like stitches in my side, like no matter how I sit, I just can't get comfortable, like I'm stretching or squishing into bone, or folding into myself. Ideas? Ways to feel relief? It's both sides but more so on my right, and only when I sit. I'm overweight too, and used to feel it at times before I was pregnant. But if anyone has solutions I'm all ears.

It could be your round ligaments expanding with your uterus but you need to go to ER if it's unbearable because it could be something else. I saw another post from someone who went to the ER and found out she had a kidney infection.

Thanks for your answer. It's not unbearable, just uncomfortable and annoying lol. Today is the first day I heard about ligaments stretching, so I'll look into it. Tomorrow is my first appointment too, to confirm pregnancy, so I'll try to ask the midwife too
