First pediatric appointment today and they got me a lil worried ? they collected a blood sample to check her for jaundice ? I’m so nervous hoping everything comes back ok we go back Sunday ..bad enough she had to go to doctors once with this flu going around as bad as it is but now we have to go back again ? I’m so worried n just hoping that everything comes back ok she’s exclusively breast fed n I’m just trying to feed her as much as possible ? wish us luck

Get her near a sunny window if you can. Not sure you weather situation, but baby needs sunlight for jaundice, very helpful. Good your rocking the nursing as that's a huge help.

Thank u for ur advice ! A few people have told me that ..I’m waiting for a not to cold sunny day to bundle her up n take her to the park not looking to nice in New York ? looks like rain for a while

My daughter had jaundice and it too was a little cold to take her out so I put her by the window, not immediately next to it bc of the cold but close enough for the sunlight to hit her. I did this every morning.

I get ya momma. We had our checkup yesterday and had to re-admit her to the hospital because of jaundice. I'm hoping for a better outcome for you.

Ugh- I’m sorry! Jaundice sucks. My baby levels got high enough that they had a bilirubin bed and blanket delivered to my house. She was on it for a couple of days and jaundice levels went down. I know it’s stressful, but hang in there mama.

Thank u for all ur support ladies ..her last blood test levels came back at a 12 so they took another today to c if it’s improving ..she’s having a lot of poopy blow outs n she’s eating a lot ! Hope her number has dropped ..my prayers go to all mommy’s n baby’s dealing with this ?

I went every 48 hours for a week and half, like others said put baby by sunny window 20 mins each front and back 4 times a day also I was just breastfeeding but once I addded formula I found that it helped his levels improve
