@lykinsamanda, you should go to a clinic. When I had it they gave me antibiotics and said it was totally safe to continue nursing while I took them.

If you have mastitis you need antibiotics because it’s an infection

Try today with this, chamomile tea, you can take tylenol and if tomorrow you still get fever and pain, go to see the doctor.

The more milk is stored more painful it will be for you and more difficult for him to latch and drink. try to put the warm towel before feeding him also.

Try to always empty the breast immediately after the last feed at night. It will get better after couple of nights. Mine stopped being painful after 4 months. Your baby should sleep now about 4 hours -5 hours that's enough time to produce milk for the next feed.

@maddoxsmama i have had a fever of 101 for the past 2 days body achs.and chills 1 boob is sore.and its sore when he tries to eat off it

Heat a towel in the microwave and place on the breast while pumping the milk out after a hot shower.

I had that. Do you have a fever and chills or just pain? You could try massaging it out but if it’s really mastitis you probably need antibiotics
