In the back if your car had 4 latch bars then you can't use it when the car seat is in the middle. If you have 6 bars then you can latch in the middle.
What she is saying is you can't share latches. Some cars now come with middle latch system but most only come with the ones behind the passenger and driver seats. Check your car manual.
It came with two of the pillows that go around the baby for comfort I guess? I think I should put the bottom one back in because theres a gap between the bottom strap insert and the side of the thighs.
I'll try the seatbelt instead of the latch! That might help it get a better fit. I didn't know this brand was so hard to install.
You can not brace this seat. Only light touching of the seat in front of it is allowed and that's only if your car allows it. As for latch I find it dreadfully hard to use on safety first seats so I just use a seat belt. Both are equally safe and I get a better instal with seat belt. You should not add anything to the seat that did not come with the seat that means no body supports no strap covers and no headrests.

I shouldn't use the latch in the center? That's kind of confusing, there are latch bars for the center seat. I'll have to switch it to seatbelt then!

I put my knee on the seat to push it into the car seat, tighten, do this a couple times and soon enough it's superman tight! Haha

Also when you go to a tech they should also teach YOU how to install it properly. Make sure they do that.

You can't use latch in the center. You need to install with the seatbelt.

It's really up to you on the support pillows, they provide a better fit for smaller kids and toddlers
