I'm 39 weeks 5 days and baby hasn't been as active as usual today. I'm drinking some cold water and doing a kick count right now. I'm having sharp pains on my right side near my ribs.

Better to go in and have nothing wrong, than to stay home and have something bad happen. Hope everything is OK!

Better safe than sorry mama. L&D will never be mad at you for that. If she doesn't move 10 times in the next hour, go in.

Her heartbeat is strong, but for some reason i can see her pushing against the monitors, but i can't feel the movements.
There's an emergency happening so they said it might be awhile before the doctor can get to me.

When they were discharging me though they mentioned that it looked like my appointment for tuesday had been canceled, like i had canceled it. I didn't. This is the 3rd time this has happened and i'm getting a little annoyed with kaiser. Now i get to get up early and go sort it out ???
Thanks for making me feel less paranoid.
