Dog ate candy
My boxer ate some smarties... do I worry? Is he going to get sick? Dd must have snuck into the candy bowl and left it out. We went downstairs to do laundry and came back up and the there was just the wrapper left. He was still chewing them. He’s almost 1, but he’s pretty big. I’ve never experienced a dog eating candy before. It’s obviously not good for him. He’s only had one type of dog food and same brand of treats.

Oh yikes! Dark chocolate is even worse for dogs. He eats milk chocolate?
I had a friend who would give her dog a bag of M&Ms peanuts as treats. I always warned her over and over about the dangers but she never stopped doing so. Dog had severe seizures later on and did pass away but from other health issues. It is just plain toxic.
?methylxanthines that can cause vomiting in small doses, and death if ingested in larger quantities. Darker chocolate contains more of these dangerous substances than do white or milk chocolate.
Usually when we get chocolate ingestion emergencies at work, we automatically try to get the animal to vomit (within reasonable timing). I always say why risk it and end up with vet bills or worse, dead pet?? (If you are offering it to them I mean).

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. Yes pp he feeds him milk chocolate. Sometimes rows at a time ? I freaked out the first few times I saw him giving it to him but it’s been years now and he can’t get enough of it!
