Formula
Do you still give your LO formula? The toddler next step or transitions?
She does eat more than peas and carrots haha. I should have elaborated. We normally eat eggs, avocado and toast or yogurt with bananas for breakfast. Lunch varies and it's tuna salad, peanut butter and jelly, etc. every meal has a fruit or veggie. But some days she just doesn't want to eat.
I guess the DHA in it is what makes me continue to give it to her. I should look up foods with it and see if we can just get it naturally some how
I addressed eating concerns with my dr and he said this age is when they are learning to put good vs bad things one their mouths so them being picky in a way is a good thing! my sons up and down too. some days he loves somethimg the next hes spitting it out and refusing to eat it. I thunk just continuing to offer a variety and being creative with what your feeding them is all we need to do. my son hates avocado on its own but if I spread it one toast he loves it so finding different ways to feed things they might not really like. smoothies with veggies ands fruits are also good ways to get nutrients however my son refuses lol he doesn't like cold things
I'm not sure why she's been like this. Teething maybe? She has most of her teeth. It's really up and down. She doesn't get a lot of formula 6 oz in the morning and 6 oz at night. I do 1 scoop for 2 oz. but it says 4 scoops for 6 oz. she does drink a lot of water. I wonder if she's drinking too much fluids in general.
Really haven't looked into vitamins. I forget to take them myself. I hope I can be better for DD.
Do you think she's not eating well because the formula is filling her up? Toddlers are notoriously picky and unpredictable eaters. I personally would not want to give formula longer than a year unless they are underweight. I'd rather do a vitamin supplement and get creative with foods. Unless you are feeding an organic brand they are chalk full of corn syrup and not that great. Which corn is one of the most genetically modified foods. Toddler milk like that similar go to grow has 15 grams of sugar a serving. So that's almost as much as a whole snickers bar ? a cup of coconut milk will provide calcium, vitamin d, b12, and healthy fats with less sugar than formula and cows milk.
She will throw purées. Thankfully she likes peas and carrots. And those fruit cups.
I stopped BFing a few months ago. And she does get regular milk too.
How many ounces of formula is it ok to give my 1 month old?
How soon have you moms added cereal to your baby’s formula?
Opinions on formula
What formula is closest to breastmilk ? I don’t plan on breastfeeding this time so I’m wanting to find formula that is closest to breastmilk 💙

They say formula feeding is easy but there is actually a lot to know. Most do not know either. Wish people would go more into formula feeding as well. #formulafeeding
She seems to be eating normal to me. Typical toddler pattern. I'd stop the formula personally.
