it's freezing!
1* F outside. Is that a reasonable excuse to call out of work ?? JK I work in HVAC so I have to go in, this is ??? kind of weather.
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?
Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻 ♀ 🤷🏻 ♀

34 here, suppose to drop soon and snow. I dressed my 7yr old in pants, socks, boots, tank top with long sleeve over top, also a sweater and winter jacket. Oh and a hat.
To be fair, it was 20 when I dropped her off for school.?

I used to leave my little ones in fleece jammies. I don't put them in their car seats with coats, so I'd usually do a regular formfitting pajama underneath and then the footed fleece ones on top. If it's that cold I'd usually throw on a little fleece jacket on top of it all.
ETA: this was for taking them to grandma's house when I had to go in to work.

Sheesh, I think I'd lock myself away in an insulated room if I had weather like you guys. It's still 22 degrees here at nearly 1am. Thankfully a lot cooler than the day. Even our winters are nothing on you guys! Brrrrrrr

It's -9 here but feels like -20. Dd is going out with my parents for breakfast (she goes with my dad every Friday for a date) and so I'm putting her in her snow pants which she wears in the car seat since I don't loosen the straps and then she has jeans, a long sleeve and I'll put her boots on with her jacket and hat. She doesn't wear a jacket in the car

I usually put a onesie underneath some fleece pajamas, put baby in car seat, and then swaddled blankets over top of them, a hat, and then a blanket hung over top of the carrier until I get into the vehicle. ?

It's -20 here... That's actual temperature not including wind chill.
Our wind chill values are ranging between -25 and -40 for today.
I think Ds1 and I will hibernate until it warms up some.

I'm in Salt Lake City Utah. I ended up putting her in a onesie with fleece pants and a sweater, two pairs of fuzzy socks, gloves and a furry bear beanie with long straps to cover chin and cheeks lol. Topped with a few blankets. She looked sooooo comfy.
