Used clothes aren't worth much. I pick through mine and only sell what is in perfect condition. Any stain, rip, or fading gets it tossed in the goodwill bin. Then I separate by size and then item. All onesies in one lot, all pants in another, etc. I price the lot at one price that's about $0.50-$1.00 per item. They sell well that way and quickly!

I would check your local classifieds for the same product or even try that offer up to see what people are selling them for and price around the same. Clothing is much different than gear.

Has any one sold baby gear? And if so how was your luck with that? I have a pack & play, swing, baby chairs etc that I have been planning on selling (most look brand new) I was wondering how much I should ask for stuff like that or if it was even worth it to try to sell ?

Yeah. I'm not expecting a lot for them. Just want to get rid of them and make a little something off it. I was thinking putting it towards her Christmas presents. Unused clothes are taking over my extra bedroom. I might take a bunch of my old clothes in too. Donate what I can't sell.

I've only sold at pop-up consignment sales. You can pick your own price with $2 as the minimum.

I'll probably be selling on my daughters clothes when she's here and has grown out of them but literally all I see is people expecting full black sacks of clothes for such a cheap price. Do they not realise that two brand new full body sleep suits cost around £12 and yet they want 10, maybe 20 times that for around £20?! So infuriating

I'll try offer up. I'm going to see what the consignment shop will give me for it. Hopefully they pay more than a quarter per item lol

I sell on offerup and on my local Facebook sale sites. I sell as a lot and I also sell individually depending on what brand it is. If I sell individual pieces but someone buys multiple items I will do a discount. Again depending on how many items and how much the items are depends on the amount I discount. Usually around $20. I make good money selling my sons stuff. I have a addiction to clothes so I usually sell by size since I buy so much and I don't have room to save up a lot of sizes and sell.

When I sold my son's stuff, I saved it all, 0 to 3 months, all the way up to 24 months. I wound up getting like $250 for all of it, but I was lucky, lucky, lucky.

Also, I had a woman message me saying her whole house was washed away by the flood we happened to be affected by, i felt awful for her, so I was going to give her a massive chunk of my son's clothes for free. The next day I logged onto facebook and her picture was plastered everywhere for being a phony, she didn't even live anywhere near the affected areas. She was taking clothes and selling them to others.

Also had another lady try to get my bassinet for super cheap, like $20. I priced it at $50 because it came with do much awesome stuff. She was harassing me to the point that I blocked her. But before I blocked her I saw on her Facebook that she ran a consignment shop and would low ball people to resell her stuff way more expensive.

It's annoying & they want it for so cheap! Knowing it would cost a lot at the store for whole outfits and sets

When I sell my son's clothes i sell them by sizes not individual and depending on how many outfits I have those the price if. I sell on the app offer up don't try to sell them for too much because people who buy used items want them for cheaper i made $70 selling my sons clothes i had a lot off clothes they went from size nb to 12 months I sold to two different people that included coats, onesies, pants, shorts, shoes and pajamas. All the stuff i sold was probably around $150 worth

I kept all my dd's stuff from nb to 12 months and sold them as a lot. Got way more doing it that way than breaking the sizes up.

But online sales where you sell the whole lot, you'll have people who drag you through the mud with "can you wait until payday for me to buy them" and they end up not purchasing, people who want to buy 1/2 the items and leave you with assorted pieces, no shows, or on the rare occasion, they'll be nice and pick up and purchase at asking price.

With a kids consignment shop, you won't get much money at all. They'll sell onesies in their store for $1 each, and you'll probably get $.25 for each onesie, if that. They're very particular on their selection of clothes, so odds are they won't pick some of them.

Unless you mean a pop up consignment sale where you set your own price for each piece. Then you print out a ticket and set the price per item, it's really a give and take with these because you're never sure what people will want or buy. You'll end up with unwanted items, and only a fraction of what you ask.

I recommend selling them in a lot, not by the separate piece.

Sob stories of why people need nice clothes for free. Low ballers. People that don't pick up the clothes they say they want. Lol.
