She can sit up on her own already?

When she's sitting in her boppy she can hold herself up for a good 20 minutes. I feel like she would do ok in a walker for a little bit. Of course while I'm playing with her. I wouldn't leave her alone in it

I haven't tried having her sit longer.

I don't think it's good for them to sit very long anyways until they get stronger back muscles. That's why I like the seat it just provides more support. My LO just slides down the Boppy lol.

And it's a seat so their legs are on the ground and they are in a seating position. In a walker she wouldn't reach the ground probably and she would be put in a standing position which isn't ideal at this age.

Maybe your LO would like a bumbo?

Yeah my daughter loved the bumbo. I'll be delaying my son to walk as long as possible ? at least I won't be encouraging it lol.

Lol well she is my only one and her dad wants her walking so he can play more! I don't mind if she crawls or walks early. More fun for us lol

As long as your playing with them while they are in it, I don't see how it wouldn't be safe. Anything can be dangerous if you don't use it properly.

I read some research that baby walkers can delay walking because it strengthens their lower legs but weakens their upper legs and hips which are the most essential for walking

I used the walker with my other two and it helped them strengthen their legs and they would zoom around the house all day!
