Conspiracy Theorists
Pokemon.... GO! Lol mass mind control???
I'm very into conspiracy theories, but I can't get on board with this one. Do yall know how long it takes to develop a game? If this was released just to distract us from current issues such as the race war etc, they would have had to know it was coming to this point a LONG time ago to start development, then conveniently release it on time. As far as government looking thru the camera, gathering data etc., they're doing and have been doing that already for a long time now. IMO, pokemon go is just a fad game that came out at the right time.
Tmobile has said they won't charge data for the game, just read an article about that...
@awesome didn't think of another country retrieving Intel on secured areas! That's something to think about for sure
Facebook requires just as much information and can see your private info just like Pokemon go. Most apps actually take a lot of your information.
I love Pokemon go lol. I have never once been hit by a car, fell off a cliff, got shot, and I find plenty of Pokemon. If someone seriously gets hurt while playing this game then they deserve it.
I saw this on FB!
Millions of people playing a game made from a foreign company. A game that uses your camera that feeds onto their servers. People exploring sensitive areas to include police stations, restricted zones, military installations etc. If I was plotting a major offensive attack....what better way to gather your Intel than from the nation's citizens themselves; and mask it as an innocent nostalgic game. Think about it.

Just a different spin on it, this game has helped so many children who have autism, children who don't usually want to get dressed and leave the house are now excited to go out and find a Pokemon. I know quite a few parents who are happy with this game, wish it had been around longer.
@ocean it's still working.... people die everyday while driving because they needed to text someone back!
I'm also one of the haters that can't believe how many people are so easily distracted to the point of congregating for hours chasing computerised monsters while completely oblivious to all the important stuff that's actually going on.
I'm considering getting huge urns of hot chocolate and coffee and taking them to my local lake to make some money. $1 or $2 a cup and I could easily make a couple of thousand over the weekend.
Cartoon thing ? Someone here was born before the late 80s. Anyone who wasn't sucked into the Pokemon craze in the 90s just doesn't understand why this game is so awesome.
Regardless, these people walking into traffic to catch a Meowth and those setting up pokestops to rob people are complete idiots. It definitely is a form of population control. It just wasn't the original intentions of the game.
But hey, we were happy catching pokemon while we were getting nuked. Lol
Can't they just hack into our phones and see what's on our camera anyway? Lol
My ss wanted to download it because we saw an article where someone found a dead body! He was set on finding out. So I agreed to walk around the block with him and my SO. He mindlessly walked into the street to catch a pokemon!!! I have to agree.... it's population control. Mean while controlling the masses. ?
Pp everyone is still very aware of BLM and all the violence going on. Don't think there is a big enough distraction for that..
