Fireworks ? Are you taking your LO to see fireworks this weekend?

Oh fun! We might try going to our state holiday fireworks on the 24th. We lit small fireworks at home and she didn't seem to get startled from the loud noises. She just fluttered her eyes lol

I didn't think we would take him because he startles easy and isn't very easy to take out anywhere yet. But, we tried it and it was so much fun! He did so good and we were far enough away that they weren't too loud. We had such a great time :)

@kelly, we actually start the process of bath and bottle at 8:00. Sometimes he will go to sleep at 8:30, up for a bottle at 3:00, back to sleep until 5:00, gets in my bed at 5:00, up at 7:00 for the day.

I have a question for this whose children are going to need at 8 or 730. How long do they sleep and when do they get up? My son goes to bed between 9 and 11 he really doesn't have a schedule yet but then will be up anywhere between 1 and 5 and back to sleep until about between 8 and 10 depending on the day. 7 or 8 seems soo early to put him to bed like he would be up at 3 for the day.

We're not. He goes to bed at 7:30, so we don't see the point in keeping up for something he won't even about. Plus he doesn't need to be around all that noise and the crowds. We may go watch the parade if he's awake.

My little guy goes to bed around 8:00. If I kept him out that late, he would make us all sorry. Lol.

Not this year. In fact, our family has decided to celebrate on the 3rd this year just so we don't have to deal with the traffic on the 4th. There are fireworks close to our house, so the husband and i will probably just watch from our front yard if we feel like it.

My LO isn't startled by loud noises. My main worry would be crowds (people love to touch babies) and mosquitoes! I hate mosquitoes. But I normally go every year with my family. Not sure if it would be worth it.

No super loud noises startle my lo and make him cry. So we will pass this year.

Yes. We go to a firework show where the fireworks are far enough away that the noise isn't so loud. There has been people shooting them off around my neighborhood already tonight and I let her watch, she wouldn't move her eyes off of them!

We are doing them at my families house he will probably stay inside since it will be closer and louder

Just came on here to ask the same thing? I have never had a little one for the 4th so curious if he would do ok?
