New mommy role
It's exhausting lol I mean so worth it, but I haven't slept since Saturday night.... keep almost falling asleep breast feeding. Trying to stay awake. We get to go home tomorrow!!! I am so ready to sleep in my bed!!
I know Is so early but i feel flutters it feels so weird but i love it 🥰
So much negativity I feel like there's so many negative comments on here...
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

It's the worst being in the hospital and trying to sleep. When you get home sleep when baby sleeps....every time!

It's so tough at first! You'll adapt pretty quickly though ?
I can still remember my last full night of sleep. December 12, 2013 lol. 6 days before my oldest was born. I miss sleep, but I love being a mommy more! ❤️

Our first night home was the hardest. I remember Dh getting up around 5 and telling me to go to bed. I slid into bed and cried. Cuz I knew I was going to get to sleep for longer then 30 minutes. Ds wanted to cluster feed. And nurse all night long. It's the hardest job in the world. But you wouldn't trade a second of it. I know parents that get night nurses to help. I can't imagine letting someone else feed and sooth my newborn all night.

I couldn't let my baby stay in the nursery... I had to have her close to me, and I was eager to care for her. Plus I'm already a light sleeper, so I woke up every time the nurses peeked in my room. I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open right now. I'm just picking up my breast pump and heading home!

The hospital is the worst place to sleep. My hospital has a "snuggle time" where fir 2 hours the nurses are not allowed to bother you, my husband held the baby so I could sleep during that time, probably the only time I actually slept while there. Getting home has been so much better.

I nursed and napped in my recliner... I couldn't help it. I was so exhausted I couldn't keep my eyes open.

It was hard for sure, the nurses did let me sleep in the morning, at least they didn't come into my room, I pretended to be asleep so I could try going back to sleep lol baby kept waking me up to feed. Are any of you breast feeding?

Sorry i l&d howtheydont let you rest. Im so glad i deliever my baby and was discharges12 hrs later.
