Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I did not know they had actual burp rags... smh... I just assumed everyone used those lil small thin blankets.... But I don't feel bad cuz my mother didn't know the difference either.. but I have always seen the blankets not so much burp rags.. please tell me I am not the only one who didn't know this
So I just packed baby's hospital bag, or what will be in it, since I have to wash everything....and I'm wondering if I need to bring burp clothes with me? I have 3 thin flannel blankets packed, but I'll be using the prefolded diapers as burp rags...should I bring them?
Okay im gonna name off the stuff we have if there is anything else you guys think is necessary for us to have when the baby gets here, speak up. I wanna be ready. Car seat, activity gym, pack-n-play, windowshades for the car, bottle warmer, baby swing, rocker seat, boppy pillow, wipe warmer, diaper genie, baby carrier, diaper bags, crib, rocking chair, baby bath, bath accessories, blankets, thermometers, nursery care kit, bottles, outlet plugs, grooming kit, changing mats, baby monitor, bottle drying rack, tons of clothes, bips, and burping rags, and a stroller. Anything else?
I bought 8 burp rags today from target because I feel like I always need them and they're never around when I need them🙄 burp rags are definitely something I wish I had stocked up more on before having my son

I've got about 6/7 muslin clothes for mine at the moment but I think a few more, it wont hurt having too many i guess, they are super handy for alot of things and they'll be in and out the wash constantly so will always have one on hand

I exagerate on burp rags. Onky cuz u dont know how many times ur baby will burp up. Or if ur baby burps up alot....you will need plenty. I also use them when im feeding my baby wipe the milk drops. Or w baby food wipe the mouth.

I have 7 total. But I was thinking a new baby eats every few hours and I'm nervous of her being a baby that's spits up a lot... I'm just nervous in general lol

Lol understandable. Im on #4 im comfortable having plenty...better to hVe more than less...
RayOfMySunShine·
Lol how many do you have?

I have about 10
With my first I had 15 and it wasn't enough sometimes unless I did laundry every two days. So I'll probably get about 10 more.
I use the gerber cloth diapers. They're white and can be used as burp cloths. It's about $12 for a pack of 10

Very dependant on the baby. One of my babies never spit up, we maybe used one a day just for swaddling etc... Another one of my babies litteraly needed 10+ everyday

I never needed them with my daughter. She spat up maybe once. And she hardly drooled at all, even when teething

Depends on the baby, I had a lot of small reciving blankets left over from the baby shower so I ended up using those as burp rags. My first baby had really bad reflux so she burped up constantly. So they came in handy because they were also a little longer. Honestly I would use about 5 a day.

I have 25 used ones, got them all free from friends and prenatal class. Moms tell me you can never have enough, and to stock up unless you want to do laundry every other day.

I bought 3 pks. Of 10 cloth gerber diapers . I use them for burp rags, wash cloths, spit up ect ... I got them during Black Friday for 4$ a pk.

Ok! Well this does give me a good idea on how many to get lol I'm going to get at least one 10pk and go from there. I hope it will be enough. I don't want to do laundry all the time lol thanks mamas!

I'm on baby #3 & I make my own. I currently have 12 total. They are actual burp cloths- not receiving blankets or swaddle blankets.

I need a sewing machine! I'd love to make my own
