My mom said if they are gonna sit for a month or longer i will have to rewash all the clothes i got. Im 36 weeks and 4 days, i got a bunch of 0-3 month clothes i will wash next week, but i received hand-me-downs from newborn to 12 months, im gonna organize them and wash the bigger ones as baby gets closer to that size.

I'm just concerned about preterm labor. I had my first at 36 weeks. My hospital bag is about ready. I don't want to wait until the last minute to get everything ready.. I didn't have a hospital bag for my first!

I would give it a week or so and wash starting with the smallest. And some bigger ones. Im a ftm and can only imagine how challenging it will be to do regular chores with a baby, let alone 2 children. My mom only said to wash the bigger ones later cuz they can get musty just being in the closet.

Yeah I've already separated the sizes and have bagged everything larger than 3 months. I'll worry about those later. I have a few premie outfits and newborn sizes out and just waiting to be washed. Lol. My SO kids live with their mom but will help when they are here. I'm technically a ftm since I placed my first for adoption. He left with his adoptive parents a week after birth. And that entire time he was in NICU. So needless to say I'm super nervous.

I've been washing stuff as I get it. I had someone give me a bunch of hand me downs so I wished that right away. I've sorted through the gifts I've gotten and have been more cautious about what I have washed to make sure I can return the smaller stuff if she grows out of it faster than expected. I'm 34 weeks tomorrow.

I'll just wash the premie and newborn stuff. I think I'm nesting lol. Yesterday I cleaned my entire house. And now I'm itching to get her stuff in order lol

I washed everything up to 6 months and have it all put away
Maybe I'm weird but I don't feel the need to rewash my cold weather clothing after summer and I haven't worn it in a while. Don't see anything wrong with clothing sitting for a few months if it's put away.
I'm much more concerned about the chemicals and all the people touching clothing in the stores before I get it.

I washed ever baby item I owned when I moved. So around 31 weeks. I was at risk for preterm labor so I also needed to lol

My baby shower is 4/2 & I'm due 5/10. I'm gonna wash all baby clothes about a week after the baby shower and what ever I'm packing, I'm going to put in a ziplock bag so Everything will be fresh.

Starting washing after the 36 week mark. And I only washed SOME things that I'll need right away. I'm scared she won't be in NB clothes for long so I'm not washing much of them so I can exchange it all a size up.
