Need motivation

Hey ladies! I am about 6-8 weeks(depends on who you ask, me or my doc lol) but I want to start working out. I had started going to the gym before I found out and once I did, I became super sick and tired. Dun dun duuunnnnn lol. I went to my doc yesterday and totally forgot to ask about exercising. She gave me some anti nauseous pills to try and so far so good. I have gained 10 lbs already and I feel that it isn't healthy. I was sick so I ate to keep me from being sick, it helped to a point. I also had back surgery 5 months ago so I know I need to take it easy. Any advice on finding motivation? Exercises? Foods to eat?

I would say walking is a good shout. Why don't you buy a pedometer and set yourself a target of 10,000 steps per day? Brisk walking and walking uphill is really good for you. To keep yourself feeling full try lean protein and lots of veggies.

As far as motivation, for me, it has to come from within. There are very good reasons to be fit and healthy. You just have to find which ones motivate you. (Write them down)Remind yourself of them when you feel unmotivated.

Stick with whole foods- whole grains, lean meat, and veggies. Fat is not evil, so make sure you do get some fat in you diet. I like almond butter, avocado, olive oil, coconut oil and cheese (for the calcium of course ?).

Spin is a great low impact cardio class.
