Off Topic- Boppy
Yesterday Dh and I went to Once Upon A Child and bought a Boppy. When we got home we realized that it was the Boppy Newborn Lounger. Has anyone used this? Dh thinks that it' may be okay to use the Lounger for breastfeeding and will be good to put the baby in to relax. Today we also went out and bought the regular breastfeeding Boppy from Target just in case. Will I really need both?
I was told by a lot of friends and family to get a boppy for breast feeding, and I also ended up with a boppy lounger. I just decided to stick with it bc it will still help with bf. I've been told it would be nice to also have a regular boppy so you can wrap it around yourself while bf. But if I'm going to bf for awhile I might look into one of these other pillows you guys are talking about.
I had a c section and I can tell you My Breast Friend would have worked way better than the Boppy! I have both, started with a Boppy first and didn't care for it so I bought the other, if I had to only choose one I'd choose the My Breast Friend. It supports baby so much better just in general but especially if having a c-section.
I'm having a C-section this Thursday at 39 weeks due to Ds measuring in at 7 lbs 6 oz at 35+5 and then 9 lbs 2 oz at 37+6 week ultrasounds. I've also been concerned about being able to hold him up well enough for him to breastfeed so hopefully having the Boppy will help.
I love my boppy! I've used it after all three csections. I wouldn't have physically been able to hold them up long enough to nurse bc I was in so much pain. In fact, I'm using mine as I type this. Ds loves taking naps in it as well. It's his favorite spot, so far. Well worth it to me.
Thank you. I've heard of My Brest Friend. Did it work well for you and how long did you use it for? I've also heard that the Boppy has many uses and it's awesome to use for propping them up as well as tummy time so if nothing else, I'll at least get to use it for that.
Weird / flirty neighbor with dh
This neighbor we will call Katie.

I could really use some opinions. I'm stumped and dh is no help.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week! Please share your breastfeeding stories and tips!
Hi everyone! @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom here. For today's chat we're going to talk about breastfeeding and pumping in honor of World Breastfeeding Week! Both can seem complicated or stressful, but remember you have lots of support here! With my first son I had things going against us for breastfeeding.
I wish I knew back when he was younger that we could have still tried! With my second...
Boppy
I loved the idea of the boppy , I have two of them . But Im so sad its not being used as much as thought especially with breastfeeding , I feel like it gets in the way ? . Anyone else not getting much use out of boppy or nursing pillows or am I just using it wrong ?
Any mommy’s use boppy pillow? How do you like it??
Just a side note, measurements are rarely correct. I had ds at 36 weeks due to health reasons and they'd measured him at 4lbs. Kid was 6,13! Dd they were worried dd was too small and at 37 weeks was only 4lbs. Had her a week later and she was 6,3! Way off.
