My 12 year old Was punched 3 times today after school. It was after boys and gild club. He was getting ready to walk…

The boy was making fun of my son's speech. And didn't lije my son telling him to stop, I talked to VP and I told him I told all my kids not to engage with this kid to ignore him but if he verbally bullies them or they hear him bragging about it they go straight to office where I am to be called immediately. I am taking this zero tolerance very serious.

The boy that pushed him is not one of the boys thats been bullying my ds. The boy that pushed him is a "friend" but he's one of the kids at school that the parents don't care what they do. The VP said the other boy is absent a lot and they can't find another number to get a hold of the mother anymore. And the boy knows he did wrong and was trying to cover his behind and have ds lie for him as well.? That just seems off.

The boys that were bullying him were in his art class. They were taking his backpack and throwing it back and forth while ds chased them for it. Then they took out all his pencils and started breaking them. Ds loves art and is very talented and these boy's were destroying his art supplies as well.

@brenda, I do believe they should pay for your boys glasses and both of the boys should be punished at school for rough housing.

I think this Is a case of boys being and playing rowdy and when you participate in that behavior you have to understand that sometimes it goes to far and accidents happen. It shouldn't have happened, but as they were pushing eachother for fun...the boy made a bad decision pushing him while his back was turned but they both participated.

I think it's amazing that you addressed the pushing play with your son at home, but to then call the other child a bully? Idk, I didn't see it happen but it sounds extreme? Does your child feel bullied by this boy, are they friends? Obviously the boy took it too far,but i hope the school deals with it so he isn't in trouble wroth the law at such a young age.

I'd press charges now, will they still be valid if you wait? I think it'd be taken much more seriously if you did it now as he already apparently bragged about your son not defending himself and from what I understand his mother is OK with it all?

Don't know the parents or the kid. I just feel, at fault. I have been letting them walk when they choose to but today I asked them to walk. There us a park right next to the school and my older 2 stopped there to wait for the younger one. I told the officer s long as this kud has no other contact with mine I won't but if he continues to harass or brag I will. It makes ne mad for the mom to use the excuse well he was beat up a weak aho and he was being mae fun of for not defending himself. Then the kid lied and said my kud threw a stick at him do he felt he needed to defend himself. However the cop knew that was a lie because he had 1 witness not related and he never mentioned the stick. My older son did admit as well as my younger and the other witness thst my older son did get in between them when the bully was getting closer to my younger son and shoved him back just to prevent him hitting him 2ce.

I was contacted by ds' VP today and am being put in contact with the school police tomorrow. I was told that as a parent I have rights to press charges which I more than likely will. The investigation showed that ds and the boy were playing around pushing each other. Ds said ok we're gonna be late so stop and was walking away when the other kid ran up behind him and pushed him while ds wasn't expecting it. I was told they contacted the boys mother on Friday and since then she will not answer any more calls because I'm asking her to pay for the glasses which with insurance wasn't much but the point is her son broke them and she should be responsible. I would most definitely pay and my ds would be so grounded if it were the other way around. Which ds did get in trouble at home for playing like that in the first place. Now if the parents continue to ignore me then I will press charges because that kind of behavior is not ok.

I'm so sorry. I think charges should be brought to the kid whether or not the school punishes him. That's terrible. I hope your son is ok. Bullying at that age will only escalate. Do you know the parents? Take pictures of his injuries.

I took vystral cause I was cramping probably fro stress and that usually makes me tired and I can't sleep.

The other boy was a grade below my son. So I have an 8, 7th (the one who got punched. And a 6th grader. My 6th grader knows him. I feel guilty cause I have been letting them walk more and I decided this time to have the walk instead of them. Any other in cede st I will press charges. I can't for verbal but as I told the cop. If he harasses or brags I will turn around and press charges on it.

I am having a very hard time. I didn't press charges yet. But I am gonna talk to principle and tell him I'd there is any comments from this kid to any of my boys or if he is heard bragging about it I need to know right away. And then I will be calling the cop back and pressing charges
