So went to a food net today
And this old lady was harping on dh about how it's not fair I he "made me be pregnant this many times" and it his fault I know have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. And when my 2 yr old went running I went to get him she said you need to be chasing him so you can loose some of that weight. I told her that it's my fault I have all these children because I wanted them. After I left she made more rude comments about it being hus fault. He ignored her but he was very bothered by it. I told him if I knew she was being that rude I would have been rude back saying you need to mind your own business. We me more then hum decided we were going to have a big family and you comments are not wanted or needed.
This is one thing I absolutely cannot stand... judgemental small minded people. We’re all human at the end of the day and I’ve always been brought up to show compassion and never judge a person by their circumstances. I find sometimes the older generation believe they are entitled to give their opinions freely simply because they have been around longer and it’s not right. In fact, her comments were actually rude and I’d most probably have said “if you can’t say anything nice then please would you keep your opinion to yourself as your rude remarks aren’t helping anybody”. Don’t let one persons small mindedness ruin your day, you keep doing what you have to do for your family and hold your head high that you’re not ashamed to seek help when it’s needed.
@mommydearest....one thing I have learned in my years of life are ppl who are critical of others often fear what they see in themselves. When you give them an opportunity to be heard and transparent, you usually find a person with a story of pain who needs to be heard. Most ppl are not bad ppl, they are hurt ppl. And we all know hurt ppl hurt ppl. The elder probably has a story of pain with her multiple children, force to keep reproducing and she deflected that on OP. Negativity travels as far as a smile. Thank you love! ❤❤❤❤
She needs to show love instead of judgment. She has no clue what your circumstances are...have no idea if your husband was laid off or if you were laid off...she doesnt know if you were a victim of a natural disaster such as a house fire...or if your refrigerator went out and all your food was lost to that. She should have reserved her judgment. If she is there to volunteer, then volunteer and shut the heck up. I do not disrespect my elders, I was raised too well to steep so low but I would have kindly redirected her conversation. I would have used her years of motherhood as a gateway....like "yes, since you have already raised your 6, what are some things you regret and some things you did great? How were you able to save and put them all through college? How did you teach independence to them all? I sure bet things were harder back in your day." The nerve of folks.....I adopt 2 families for Christmas every year...and my only request is if they ever are in a position to help someone else to do so. I really am disgusted by ppl like her. My mother always said "if you are not providing a solution then you don't have a right to point out the problem." Blessings to you and your family and I hope all of your families needs are met.
It's a community handing out food. Like a fool bank that takes food to different sites to hand out.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Ladies who are having a boy are u getting him circumcised? If your gonna be rude and judge then don’t comment PERIOD ‼️
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
So I have a question.. Would you ladies give your SO a second chance of he cheated on you?. But he came to you and told you instead of having to catch him redhanded and was truthful about EVERYTHING.
If you were getting a mani/pedi or something frivolous, that'd be one thing. But feeding your children? Really, she's going to judge you for that?! ??♀️??♀️??♀️ You never know someone's circumstances.
