I have my c section date
As long as my ob gets what he wants. It's scheduled 38.2 wks. I don't think I will make it that far but I hope I do. BTW this is the first time they scheduled it. My last ob knew I go early so he waited. And most of the time it was get your butt to the hospital you are delivering today
@miss I really don't think I will make it that far. As my type 2 diabetes usually start aging my placenta around 36 weeks or less. And my last ob who delivered 7 out of my 8 kids never scheduled them in advanced because of it. So all I really know is that's my final day of being preg.
@olsenj... I'm going early due to a combo of age (40) & prev issues with my cesarean scar. At my 2nd cesarean my OB - who had pushed pretty hard for me to try a vbac - said "I'm sooo glad we didn't get you to labour". After seeing the scar line, he believed i would have ruptured.
It's since been found I have a 'cesarean scar defect'.
All that being said, I'm pretty sure 37w is best practice by the 3rd/4th cesarean. Maybe ask what the recommendation is?
I am seeing a different doctor this pregnancy than I have my last 2. He wants to wait
And do my c-section when I am 39 weeks. This will be my 4th baby and I have had them all at 38 weeks exactly. I really want to have this baby on January 12th bc it is my grandma's birthday and we are naming this baby after her. I will be 37wks 1 day. I am going to ask my doctor if I can schedule my c-section for that day but, I have a feeling he is going to be a butthead about it. Any suggestions?
I got my c-section booked for January 17... when im 29weeks +2 days. Probably will end up going earlier but id rather her stay in there till shes ready. I was lucky i didnt need to book it earlier!
Do you find it really weird, knowing exactly when your bub will actually arrive? Rather than an estimation, like most others?

I'm having mine by cesar at 37w (either exactly 37w on Fri 5th or on Mon the 8th, only unsure bc it falls that v.first week of Jan & the hospital is yet to confirm staffing) and it just feels really quite strange being able to pinpoint & plan exactly when it's going to happen... barring any surprises, of course!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Omg.. Had to go to my OB alone for the first time today @ 26+5.. If He wasn't the HOTTEST doctor alive it'd be okay.. But he is.. And I was alone. .. And I had to get a pap unexpectedly.. Hahhahahahaha! Geez

I know this sounds sooo fkedup but sometimes i wanna get into a bad accident so my husband sees exactly all the things i do ... and how wrong he is by saying i don’t do enough ( not in those words but the jist of it ) anyway .... i think this all the time . Maybe then he will think differently .
On a good note though Monday I get admitted to get the cerclage removed...after that it's the waiting game, baby boy can be born same day or later on. Hopefully he stays put till my scheduled csection. I ain't ready lol
