Update on Scarlett
After 7 long months of waiting, Scarlett's post mortum results have finally come back. They believe she died of Laryngotracheobronchitis influenza a. God knows what this actually is. Also her heart was twice the weight it should of been for a child her age.
I just read your story and it broke my heart. I'm so glad you are pursing this like crazy. It won't bring her back but it will hopefully prevent these doctors (I had to stop myself from putting a nasty descriptive word before doctors) from doing the same thing to another poor innocent baby. I would sue the crap out of them!
What is an inquest?
I seriously can't believe after everything that you went through / are still going through they're trying to give u the run around. That's insane! I'm glad you convinced them to keep going. You're 10000000x stronger than I think I ever could be, I don't know how you do it.
I stalked your posts to see what happened. I cant imagine having to go through any of this and be as strong as you have been. I really hope they hold those responsible who looked at your daughter for being so careless. I really hope you get all the answers you're looking for and to help gain some closure.
Thank you everyone for your support, the fight is the only thing keeping me going at the moment, the inquest is in December so hopefully I get answers then
I hope you can find more answers for you and your family. Your story breaks my heart. My now 2.5 year old dd was diagnosed with exactly that last winter and they said it was croup caused by flu type A. She also never had any coughing so I'm not sure if that's supposed to be normal or not. She mainly had trouble breathing and was very lethargic. They put her on tamiflu and some other meds right away and it ended up clearing up after about a week or so. You are such a strong mama! I can never imagine going though this and being given the run around at every turn on top of that!
I don't know how they can say she had croup when she never even had a cough ? Unless there is such thing as a form of croup which doesn't have coughing as a symptom
Goodness gracious! I pray you find your answers! Your baby girl deserves that. ❤️
Sending lots of love and prayers ❤️?
