Tanning beds while breastfeeding
I love going tanning in the winter as it is the only thing I can use as an excuse to get out of the house for a few mins (plus everyone tells my how pale I am if I don't go) but I was wondering if any of you ladies have gone tanning while breastfeeding? Have you had a decrease in your supply? As it causes your body temperature to go up, will it affect my supply from heating up?

I don't use the lotion cause that's the first thing I thought of... I don't go too often either.. I used to go a lot before I got preggo but stopped n I've only gone a couple times since I've had her.
I'd really suggest not going while breastfeeding. Wait until you are done. Those crappy chemicals going into your body is probably so bad for the baby.

With my first son I had things going against us for breastfeeding. I wish I knew back when he was younger that we could have still tried! With my second son I was determined to breastfeed, and even though he was born 11 weeks early I wasn't going to let that stop us from trying to breastfeed! For 7 weeks I pumped every 2 1/2-3 hours on the dot to establish and maintain my milk supply. When your little one is born early they usually need time to master sucking, swallowing, and breathing so I wasn't able to nurse right away. When my son was 33 weeks gestational (so 4 weeks old) we were finally able to latch on, and he did great! By 36 weeks gestational we had successfully started breastfeeding, and today marks 21 months of actual at-breast breastfeeding for us! I am passionate in trying to help moms-to-be and moms with breastfeeding and/or pumping, but I support moms who choose not to or for other reasons cannot breastfeed. Remember, I mentioned I didn't breastfeed my first son. I understand both sides. Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but I believe it's at least worth trying! I asked my doctor, he said it was fine as long as the lotion stayed of my breasts and I didn't stay in there more than 10 min. But I only did it once a week just to have a little color. Just ask your doc
