1st IUI questions
So tomorrow is my mid-sono to see how I responded to fermara. I'm really really nervous. I hope it worked & there aren't more than 3 mature follicles. If there are more than 3, my doctor will cancel IUI this cycle. What's the max number of follicles your doctor allows for IUI? What is consider "mature" & how long after your sono did you trigger?
With 3 or more mature follicles my doctor would cancel IUI.

I don't know your history, but I wouldn't hesitate to do an IUI with 3 or 4 follicles. But that's also because I've done ivf and retrieved 20 eggs and only got one baby out of all of it...

I wouldn't think you'd have more than three on that dose. Probably 1 to 3. I only had one on that dose and I respond really well to meds.
I took 5mg from cd 3-7. I have my follicle scan today at 3:45pm and I'm cd 12.
That’s a good question because I never got more then 3-4 mature follicles....
What dose were you on? Getting more than 3 on femara is rare! My RE triggers when follicle is over 18 mm.
IUI Monday!! So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years!!! It was a good thing we picked up a trigger shot before we left too :-)
Scarlett As a mother you know when your child is poorly, and it's more than just god damn viral infection. But no f*** ing doctor would listen.
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
how young is to young too try for a baby? I feel like it should matter more on your maturity, financial status, & how well your relationship is with the partner.. I want to go to a doctor & get help but I'm afraid they'll tell me I'm to young.
What’s your take on vaccinations? Some people think they do more harm to the baby than good .. personally I don’t know , but I would love some insight.

My doctor's rule is to cancel if there are more than 3. Plus since there was one measuring @ 15.5, she said it's like having 2 and a half. I had a sono done 3 days after to see if I did ovulate and the trigger worked. Turns out the two largest ones released.
