I went for the first time last year. Went to Walmart. Got an Xbox, tv, Fitbit, Xbox controller, these big dump truck toys for my son, and some Tupperware. We got the items and it took about an hour and a half just to check out. It was such a crowded nightmare. We went back later the next day and all the big items were still there. ? and you can also shop online during the hours and get it shipped to the store for free. So really it’s pointless to even go.

It's just peoples lack of respect. Its not as big in Canada compared to the US so I personally have no seen any physical violence lol

I never went out on Black Friday. Too chaotic and I don't like crowds anyways. But 2 winters ago, I worked at Wal-Mart. There was a pretty big winter storm coming through the same evening as black Friday, was supposed to last whole weekend. There were very little people that showed. A whole lot of stuff was still available by the time I clocked out so I did some peaceful shopping. The sale continued until Monday lol

I work for Walmart and have worked every Black Friday for 6 years. The worst I’ve seen was a older lady getting knocked out with a vacuum cleaner by a younger guy.

I’ve also seen people get trampled because they were fighting for sheets. It’s scary. I don’t shop it and we have a lot of protocols in place to try to keep it all to a minimum.

I went one time and someone got arrested for starting one minute early and when it did start people were jumping in people's carts to get to where they need in the store. We're animals when it comes to saving. I said I think I'll just stay home on black Friday from now on. ?

I would have pushed their cart back with mine! ? jk not on Black Friday anyway! These are crazy! A sale makes people nuts!

Nothing bad but I was so mad that someone kept ramming their cart into my back when I was 9 months pregnant. Literally my due date was 2 days after Black Friday lol

I despise Black Friday u won’t see me anywhere near any stores that day!! No thanks. I’d rather pay full price then some then be out there with all those crazies

My mom and I were in line at our local Wal-Mart a couple years ago, they had everything sectioned with ropes, there was a woman behind us with a tiny baby probably 3-4 months old in a car seat in the cart, well some lady with both hands full of gifts came pushing and shoving her way through to jump the ropes and a box tipped out of her hand and would of hit this woman's baby if my mom wouldn't of caught it.

I went one time, to one store, for one item...ill never do it again. I watched about 5 fights break out over a doll, a tv, a computer, a dvd player, and a pillow. Yes, a pillow. The pillow was actually the worst. i saw this little old lady (atleas 70 years old) pull a gun on someone because it was the last pillow and she wanted it. The other girl got in the ladys face and said something along the lines of "your so old you couldnt tell the difference between this pillow or another one, so i need it more than you do. You had your chance at beauty rest and it obviously failed, now its my turn." So the little lady pulled a gun out of her pocket book, and said "well how about i just blow a hole in your pretty face, then you wont need the pillow anymore." Cops were promptly called, and neither of them got the pillow lol

I went ONE year. I was at Wal-Mart and there were 3 different fist fights. One over toasters, one over movies and one over xbox and PlayStation games. Legit...men and women punching each other with all their kids running around trying not to get hit. It was ridiculous. Then outside there were people walking up to other people trying to load their items in their cars, and the other people had guns and knives, and were basically holding people up for their items. Some of them were walking up to full carts and just snatching things bc they knew the person wouldn't chase them and leave all their other belongings. It was really sad. A group of guys tried stealing my step- brother's flat screen he had just bought while he was in the parking lot. My step- brother carries so he pulled out his gun. They did not get his tv but i remember my mom being mad that he did it bc she said he could've been killed over it. We live in a fairly small town in kind of the country in the South. You expect a lot of crime in bigger cities just bc the number of people per sq mi is extensively increased, however crime doesn't discriminate based on the number of citizens. It's a sad day when you literally have to be in fear of shopping a sale, no matter where you live. It's so crazy!

I’m so glad the target o used to work at was only one story ? I remember working Black Friday and having a line that wrapped around to the back of the store. Super excited thinking it was gonna be crazy that day. It was only busy for like an hour after we opened up at midnight and then dead the rest of the day ? such a waste of time. The only thing crazy that happened was I was so bored that I completely organized the see spot save section in the front. That was such a huge accomplishment for my target career, I’ll never forget it ??

I worked at target during black Friday right out of high school. My target had a staircase to get up to the actual store since there is a parking garage underneath. The stampede of people up those stairs... I'll never forget it. People are ruthless for those sales.

I've never gone either, too many bad stories and getting up wayyyy too early lol. Hopefully with all the cyber deals now it won't be as bad.
