Does canned beef sound gross to me? Heck yeah. Would I eat it if I couldn't afford anything else? Heck yeah. Do I judge anyone who buys it? Nope. Canned beef just initially sounds gross. Lol

It doesn't matter if you refuse to feed your child canned products but to call it crap and say you wouldn't even feed it to your dog, while many people feed it to their families because they can't afford to have refrigerated meats all the time is low. I'm sure you eat highly processed foods that are way worse than meat in tomato sauce. Preggo sauces are on the higher price range and higher quality of other brand names and they have meat spaghetti sauce. Chicken noodle soups or chicken rice soups or the steak stews are not disgusting because they are canned... They have healthy organic soups with meat too. Cheetos (and other chips) and hot dogs are far worse off than these meals. Don't be cocky, when I'm sure most people are eating very poorly health wise...

Canned meat of any kind freaks me out. I just can't do it. And yes that includes soups, tuna, meat sauce, etc. I never fed my kids any of the meat baby foods either. I thought they smelled like dog food.

Lol you guys are cracking me up. Have you never eaten canned tuna? Or like 75% of the food at the grocery store? Because most of it would normally require refrigeration but it is made shelf stable for your convenience. Some examples:

Canned soups (chicken noodle, beef stew, ravioli)

Canned meats (tuna,chicken for dips, salmon for patties)

Shelf stable milk, protein drinks, etc.

Not to mention baby food.

It's not that weird honestly. Trying to figure out why you're all flipping out.

I personally don't eat hamburger helper but I wonder, do you ever eat jarred spaghetti meat sauce? If you can things properly, they would be fine for a while. I don't think this is the case, but canned meat doesn't have to be gross.

Yea well whatever it is I'm not eating it and I'm definitely not feeding it to my child. Lol. How can I even be sure it's beef? No. Meat does NOT have a shelf life.
