We started with the Moby wrap, then went to the infantino flip, Ergo, and finally ended up with a Tula. If I could redo it...I would have only purchased the Moby wrap and the Tula. Tula sells an infant insert, so you can use it with newborns and smaller babies. Tulas are quite expensive, about $150+ brand new..but there is a group on facebook called Babywearing On a Budget. You'll find a ton of very nice used carriers on there. Also, the group Everyday Babywearing will give you tons of info on all the different carriers available and how to babywear properly.

Did you find certain carriers to work better?

My son wanted to be held all the time, too...until he was about a year old. He's 18 months now, and still has his moments. He has aways hated any type of swing, and has never been a good sleeper. Babywearing, definitely, saved my sanity. I could wear him and clean the house, prepare meals....do whatever I needed to do. He'd nap right in the carrier!

Thanks for the replies. I hold her whenever she cries. I should try baby wearing. My first wasn't like this at all.

Ds1 was like this from birth. I had to hold him constantly AND he needed to be bounced for most of that time.

Ds2 is also breastfed and doesn't have a problem being put down at all. I'd say it's a personality thing as opposed to feeding.

My sympathies are with you. It was draining and I also ended up wearing baby so I could get things done.
