crying over spilled milk
I'm literally crying over spilled milk. My breastmilk! I had a good 4-5 oz pumped and it spilled. It's hard to breastfeed let alone pumping on top of that. You have to have a schedule and stick to it. It's hard getting up at night to feed and then pump. Then do it over and over every 2-3 hours. I even feed on demand. I get up at 1am 3am 5 am then 8 am. I feed on demand all day until 11pm. I'm sorry for rambling. I'm only 6 days postpartum so maybe it's my hormones, but I'm upset. :(
Should I do once at night and twice during the day? I didn't bf dd1.
I was told to pump this way bc I was engorged the first day I had her. I cried and dh didn't even understand why.
I pump two times that I feed at 1am and at 5am and three times during the day. I'm still engorged after I feed dd 2. I leak every where. I give the pumped to dd 1.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I'm upset because I can't even pump enough milk for Carter's next feeding :/
I EBF I hardly pump.. thing is I start school on Tues and I need to start pumping so I can leave some milk for my husband to feed him while I'm gone it's a 4 hour class what should I do?

took me 10 minutes to pump this from both breast after feeding Ethan for 25 minutes. My milk supply is going crazy yesterday I pumped 8 bottles my milk stash is going to be great
I agree with the advice to cut down on pumping. Your body is still regulating your supply. The more you pump, the more your body is going to continue to think you need the extra milk. If you don't actually need it, you are just going to continue to be uncomfortable.
ETA: I am sorry about the spilled work! It takes so much work to produce! I accidentally forgot to put all the milk I pumped yesterday in the fridge. I thought pretty long and hard about what creative solution might exist to save it before dumping it down the sink with some tears.
