Help please! I need a beta test whilst visiting UK
Hello ladies! I'm a Brit who moved to Switzerland and has been treated at a Spanish IVF clinic. My beta is due 13th Feb, when I'll be in Sheffield visiting my in-laws. I don't know how anything works in the UK and Google is just confusing me 1more. My NHS number has expired and so I'm happy to pay on the spot or use my EHIC card if they'll take it.
Thanks jcs! I'm 2dp5dt this morning yay! I'll see if I can find some clinics to ring.
I'm down south so not sure about Sheffield. I attend Bourne hall but they have a variety of clinics. They are nhs and private. I think you'll prob need to go private but worth trying nhs. I think if you ring some private clinics that'll be the best option. I've always had a phonecall about stuff so I'm sure you won't have to wait for post. To be honest though, my clinic have never talked about betas. Think they do mostly scans here after a positive preg test. Scans at 35 days or more. Sorry im prob not helping at all!! But if you need me to do anything from here, let me know x
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Nice idea, but it's sooooo important to me that I wanted to get it booked and paid in advance, so I eventually found the Jessop Fertility Centre, who will see me at 9h30 for 25 quid and give me the results over the phone at 14h :) Perfect!!
A lot of the others I rang needed an NHS number or wanted me to make an apt to have a doctor tell me the results or send it by post to my clinic in Spain and it was just really administratively horrendous for me and them!
