My little one managed to successfully climb out of her cot this morning. She’s in her own room so I didn’t see her do it or how she did it. When did your little ones make the move to a toddler bed? I’m worried she may still be too young? (21months) With a new baby coming in 7 weeks, am I silly to start the transition to her toddler bed?
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed. She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄 I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴 I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣 She ate an eggo.
Baby sleeping in their room? How many of yalls babies are sleeping in their own room already? This is my baby's 3rd night alone in her room. She does GREAT! Sleeps better and longer in her crib. I wasn't planning on letting her sleep alone yet but my husband put her to sleep one night and put her in her room. We were both thinking she'll wake up soon and then I'll just put her in the bassinet in our room. Well, she never woke up until 7:30am ?. I was shocked! She would usually wake up twice at night to eat and then fall asleep in my bed. But in her crib, she slept all night. I'm actually very sad about this. I miss her ?I'm having a hard time having her in her bedroom. How are you ladies coping with your baby in another room?
Mommies I need advice.... So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have felt like a complete failure because I am delirious due to sleep deprivation, and I’m just so exhausted from this whole journey and can’t catch up with my sleep that when she’s waken up the past two nights at 7am, I haven’t been able to push through my exhaustion and I just put her in the bed with me for an hour or an hour and a half until we wake up just so I can get a little sleep. I don’t want to confuse her and I don’t want all the work I’ve done so far to be a waste because of putting her in bed with me these past two times. I don’t have anyone to take turns with me because I’m a single mom. And at times my bed wakes her back up after putting her to sleep because it’s so noisy 🙄. I’m working on that part, lol. I’ve let her sleep with a shirt of mine that smelled like me 3 nights and it didn’t help. I’ve even given her a bed baby that she sleeps with. What would you guys do in my case.??
Quick question does any of you moms let your baby sleep in bed with you if so was it hard to get them to sleep in there own bed? My baby is a little a month and I tried having her sleep on her own and she just kept waking up and when I put her in bed with us she fell back to sleep and stayed asleep.

So last night she woke up only once and started walking into our room and I quickly picked her up and rocked her for a couple minutes until she passed out. I laid her back down in her room where she stayed until the
morning. Hoping it's not just a one time thing.

We cosleep a lot. Since the ordeal with my sister and her bf, dd has a hard time sleeping alone. It might be my anxiety rubbing off on her. I’ll get her in the habit of sleeping on her own soon. She does go to sleep alone but wakes up around 1 and won’t go back to sleep unless she’s in my bed with me.
But I want my bed back.

My two year old falls asleep in his bed and then crawls into ours during the night. And I rather sleep so I don’t put him back lol.

My lo is 23 months and goes to sleep in his crib. But every single night he cries and I bring him into bed with me. He hasn't slept all night in his crib for 8 months. ?

Never. ? my kids are 7 and 6 and have always enjoyed being in their own beds. I miss it. On occasion I'll have a movie night in the living room and we'll sleep out there and get my cuddles in that way. ?

Every?damn?night? we're in the same boat. I'm just hoping when ds gets at least 2, they can sleep together and comfort each other

If you really are wanting to avoid co-sleeping I'd say put her back her own bed immediately once she hops into yours, letting her fall asleep in your bed then moving her afterwards only confirms to her that is ok for her to do it.
It might mean crying for a few nights & repeatedly putting her back instead of sleeping yourself but the alternative is having her in your bed whilst you have a new born to take care of. Some people are happy to co-sleep with multiple children but if you're not I'd start now & stop letting her fall asleep in your bed.
Take her back to her own bed & say night night we will have cuddles in the morning or something & leave. That's what I'd do... I'm a harsh mean mummy ?

Unfortunately I have a 18 month old and a 3 year old sleeping on my bed and it's so uncomfortable and I'm 29 weeks I'm getting to the point I can't handle it anymore so it's about time for me to crack down cause I can't take it my kids got a big head and she digs it into my back at night ugh I need some relief

This is why I still haven’t converted DS’s crib to a toddler bed ??

My almost 5 year old has been coming into our room since he was 2!!! My husband would take him back to his bed but he would fall asleep in there. That’s when I️ was pregnant with his brother. Now that he’s almost 5 he sleeps in a little couch/bed next to our bed. He wakes up now to go pee and comes into our room. But he knows he’s not to come in the bed so he sleeps next to our bed

My 3 year old only climbs in bed with us when she’s sick and not feeling well but her bed is in our room so maybe that makes a difference.

Every night when he dad leaves to work at 3 am.

Every night until she was 4, in the wee hours of the morning. I just let her, it was too tiring to get up just for her to come back to my bed. I was able to get decent sleep with her in bed, though.

My little girl is 5 and she ends up in my bed at least 3 times a week. I have just got a blanket and pillow in the floor by my bed so she doesn't keep me awake. She tries to get in my bed but I tell her she has to lay in the floor cause there isn't enough room. She's just happy not being in her room.
