Labial adhesions

Anyone deal with this with their daughters before? I took dd to the doctor for what I though was a bladder infection. Turns out she has labial adhesions and has to see an obgyn. The doctor said most likely she will just get a cream to apply that will open it back up.

Yes, currently using the estrogen cream on my 2.5 yr old. The adhesions were noted around 4-6 months, but never bothersome to her. I noticed she was straining a bit to pee now that she's potty trained, so I looked and it had worsened. Hoping the cream helps; we just started it about 2 weeks ago.

Been going through this with my almost 2 year old since she was 2 months old.

The obgyn prescribed her estrogen, it opened and as soon as I stopped the cream it closed back up. Obgyn said to just let it be......a year later her vagina was smelling bad, she had an uti and they had to insert a catheter but they couldnt so she was sent over to another obgyn, got more estrogen cream, it opened and weeks later it closed back up and so the obgyn told me not to worry because it will eventually open on its own once she hits puberty.

Unfortunately you have to discontinue the use of the cream because they can start showing signs of early puberty.

My daughter had one as a baby. Pediatrician said it was very common and a lot of moms don't even know. Most of the time it opens up in its own by 1-1 1/2 years old. Otherwise they prescribe a cream to open it back up. My daughters opened on it's own around 11-12 months old and we haven't had a problem with it since and she's 3 1/2 now.

My little cousin went through it. Except the doctor ripped her open (which isn't as morbid as it sounds) and gave her some cream. She hasn't had any problems since.

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
