I'm so upset

I just found out today that one of my clients lost her almost 2 month old over the weekend. It started with a cough and they took him to the doctor several times within 4 days just to be told he was fine and it would clear up in a few days. Well obviously it didn't and now they think it was pneumonia. I don't care what any doctor says they cannot outsmart a mothers intuition. If we say something is wrong with our babies something is wrong!

That’s so sad. Always trust your gut mamas. When my son was 3 months old he started getting a cough, wheezing, and his chest would cave in as he took a breath. Doc at the er wouldn’t even listen to his chest just sent us home saying he had a cold n would be fine. I immediately went to another er he had rsv. And had to be in an oxygen tent bc his levels were so low. They had to suction his nose and mouth constantly from all the mucous. Nebulizer treatments and everything.

That's so sad. The last time my son was sick I took him to a children's hospital, swedish medical we, and the Dr. All said he was ok but I wasn't happy so I went to a different children's hospital and they finally admitted him and he had to be out on oxygen with deep suctions from the mucous in his lungs. We were there for a week until he got better. Idk what I would've done if they hadn't finally admitted him.

I almost lost my three week old with those same symptoms, she had rhino entero virus which is the common cold but for babies it is so horrible. Poor baby was in the PICU for almost two weeks intubated on a ventilator. She's now 2 months old!

I'm studying in the health industry and it's been a huge eye opener to who they let get qualified.

So mumma's stand your ground, if something is wrong and you know it, advocate for your kids. That poor poor mother ?

That breaks my heart ? Doctors are not always right and this just goes to show how important it is to follow your gut instinct.

That's so sad ? I can't even imagine the pain she's going through. My #1 piece of parenting advice is to always trust your intuition. Their family will be in my thoughts ?
