Lkirchy, my Nextdoor app was going crazy with complaints last night LoL! We're in CO so the dryness and fire danger is a real thing here too. There was someone doing all sorts of illegal ones and they were hitting a bunch of our houses/roofs and hit someone's dog too!

Eh. My dogs are afraid of them. But it is only for atleast a week. People have fun. Others are just stupid. I say deal with it.

All holidays that involve fireworks of some sort have become one of my homeowner's pet peeves! It's either neighbors doing their own shows, or idiots that do the dynamite-type of explosions, and run away from the scene. Those are happening as I type? I thank my stars after every single explosion when my toddler stays solidly asleep...knock on wood!

That's me. My 3 year old is deathly afraid and I yelled at someone that lit an illegal one off. My dad thinks I'm ridiculous. Idc though. He isn't the one that has to try to comfort a 3 year old that is scared for her life due to them??‍♀️

I've been thinking that all night. My 2 year old came running in while I was taking a shower at 10 saying he's scared, it's quiet now. I'm most worried about tomorrow night.

Ugh I'm sitting here thinking the same thing as I listen to them going off right in front of my house.
