I like ALDI for their produce. Ridiculously cheaper than other stores. I've been shopping there for almost 7years now and never checked any food labels for expiration dates???.

We just got an Aldi's here too. I was also shocked at how small it is. We have saved $$$ these couple of times that we have gone.

I outraged in Australia we have to put in 1 or 2 $ coins ? no fair

The carts are locked up/ .25 cents because it ensures you bring it back...so they save money not hiring employees to handle carts. Same goes for boxes...nothing is unloaded because it makes the cashier more efficient and able to unload and check u out. My aldi only has 2 people working a shift.

I love aldi though and u just have to wash produce because it goes bad fast.

Milk and eggs are super cheap...i literally spend $140 and get an over flowing cart for the week

A lot of the Aldi brand items are just name brands with private label packaging so they should be just as good. Many big food companies make their national brand items as well as packer label or private label for grocery stores.

My trip went pretty well. It was so weird to me that the grocery was so small lol. Everything was at a great price though! I'm hoping it all tastes good!

-The fruit and veggies are good, so is the dairy.

-Aldi's brand items are actually pretty tasty.

-Bring your quarter.

-Revel in all the money you saved.

We do our main food shopping at Aldi's, then we go to another store to get the things Aldi doesn't have.

We spend much less that way.

I've heard of a lot of people coming home and noticing the expiration date was at least a week or two prior to purchase. I understand it's a discount store, but at least sell unexpired items.

Check your expiration dates while at the store!

Carts are locked up so they won't get stolen.

Well that makes a whole lot more sense. DH and I walked into Aldis once and couldn't figure out why all the carts were locked up. So we just were like "this place is weird lets go to Kroger" lol

Turkey burger is priced great an the spaghetti sauce is also..

We alway stock up on them at aldis..

Be careful buying some of their brand name products. Most of their prices are cheap but you're better off getting anything brand name from an actual store that may have the items on sale because they charge more for those

Bring your own bags! They have free boxes like SAMs but I bring my reusable bags. Otherwise they charge.

Make sure to check expiration dates and try to get the best looking fruits and veggies because they normally go bad quicker.

Their chicken nuggets are amazing. Real crispy. Lol
